Episode 214: The Quiet Things That No One Ever Knows

NATHAN RETREATS TO HIS BAD-BOY WAYS - Nathan (James Lafferty) descends into an emotional crisis as his marriage with Haley (Bethany Joy Lenz) unravels. Karen (Moira Kelly) continues to question Lucas' (Chad Michael Murray) reasoning for moving in with Dan (Paul Johansson) and Deb (Barbara Alyn Woods). Brooke (Sophia Bush) becomes Student Council President with a little help from Mouth (Lee Norris). Meanwhile, after much sexual tension, Jake (Bryan Greenberg) and Peyton (Hilarie Burton) share their first kiss. Barry Corbin and Craig Sheffer also star. Babu Subramaniam directed the episode written by R. Lee Fleming, Jr.

I loved Peyton tonight.

I loved the scene between Nathan and Peyton. It was very cute how he went to her. I loved the drawing Peyton drew him also.

The JP kiss was cute. I am glad they are taking it slow.

Yea Jen i was just going to comment on that. I loved how he came to see her, and how she reacted. That was one of my favorite parts.

The Jeyton kiss was so cute! Peyton really wanted that :lol:

But my favorite part by far, was Hilarie nawing on the blocks at the end.. I found that soo funny :lol:

I actually enjoyed the JP tonight, I like them together. Still not like excited about them yet. Waiting for more of a spark i guess. although, the kiss was very cute.


I think my favorite part with peyton tonight was with nathan. I was so happy that they finally interacted after ALL of that time. There's just that connection there after all that time, and I liked it. As friends of course ;) It was great, very real.

I have to say that was my fav. part with peyton, her and nathan.


overall, she was just great :D

I loved the P/N scene we got :sigh: I'm so glad he went to her.

It looks like Peyton's art is making a comeback :yay:

Hilarie was wonderful last night as always. She showed once again that she has chemistry with all the 3 main guys..Nathan, Jake and Lucas.

JP kiss ... hottness ... Peyton biting his lips...erotic...can't really blame her. Hil definitely the best kisser of the group :D

BP scene ... I was focused on P the whole time. Y'all know how I feel about Brooke ...

And the best part ... N/P. Finally! Nathan's talk about love....I always knew he was talking about Peyton when he made that speech to Lucas in DTMFG. Last night solidified that belief :nod: Its making me smile right now just thinking about it :D

Wow Peyon was amazing in the last epi. I loved her even more. Especially the scenes she got with Nathan and Jake.

I was really glad there was a NP scene. I totally loved it. It was great that Nathan went to Peyton to ask about Haley, cuz he knew Peyton and Haley are great friends. What he said....I just loved it. At the end I knew he was gonna say "People always leave"...That was great! The drawing that Peyton made was a great detail from her....especially what it said.

The JP kiss....:eek: I loved it! It was so cute and I was kinda excited cuz it was just so sweet! :love:

I LOVED peyton in this eppy!! My favorite part was defiantly the Nathan/Peyton interaction! I loved how he came to her! And the best part was when she drew that pic for him!! I thought that was so nice of her to do!! I really believe that, that is why he decided to call haley! I think she really had an affect on him!! I also love that her drawings finally made an apperance!! All in all she was great as always!!! :D

NP- what she did for Nathan was really great, the drawing :sigh: I knew he would come to her. I actaully loved the comment Nate made about her and Lucas, love sucks. Yep, love sucks, especially with Lucas. Thats why I hope he'll be alone for the rest of the series :evil_lol:

BP - loved thier scenes! Soph and Hil have great chemistry together. I'm happy to see that the best friendship on the show is still alive!

JP - :sigh: the kiss was so hot, bettter than I thought it would be! I love to see her happy. I loved how she gave him the money for the doctor. That was very sweet of her :nod:

I was disappointed I didnt think there was enough Peyton. where was she durning that whole Mouth speech thing. I thought we would see her there for her best friend.

I was excepecting Peyton to talk for Brooke, not mouth even thugh I adore BM. :(

I loved Jeyton in this episode, woohoo kiss!! I was surprised they didn't show her in the crowd during Mouth's speech, but I'm glad Mouth did that for Brooke.
