I hate to be one of those people who blames the writers, but it seems, to me, the writer's didn't want to continue with or give any kind of realism to the drug storyline so they treated it like it was nothing. All the characters did it. None one gave any credit to it, they just acted like her problems and struggles were miniscule. Heck even Peyton did it in the end of that awful storyline. (I hate it because it went nowhere and was nerver truly resolved.) But really that's the ONLY bad thing I can think Haley has done to Peyton in the whole course of the show. And I don't think it was even intended to cause Peyton any dismay or harm. I don't even count her being Brooke's new bff and blah blah as being a bad thing towards Peyton. We've seen this season that even if PH get virtually no screentime Haley does think of her and they are good friends off our screens. But I digress, I forgive it because I don't know how I'd react in a situation like that, how to treat the person, etc. and a lot of that was bad writing. Even Brooke treated the drugs like they weren't anything, like we just aren't doing that again, are we? Basically they had the character's isolate Peyton which only made her more depressed and in the end she ended up clinging to Jake. Part of the plan I'm sure. All in all, it was just a badly written storyline that had the potential to draw the girls closer together as a group as she dealt with her pain with them. But alas that wasn't meant to be. *SIGH*

I mostly just watch for LP/Peyton now. If Mark gives us HP, I take it. If he doesn't, it doesn't bother me as it used to.

I'm more bothered by the fact I despise BP and I want a friend for Peyton that doesn't treat her like trash. She needs friends in her life that are real friends and even if PH get hardly anything, I still feel like they have that...even if it's not on screen.

I think Mark just wants the Non Brooke fans to like her i dont know after 109 i notice they re wrote BP to make it seem like they were the bestest friends ever but in 102 Peyton has a meaningful conversation with Brooke then the look on her face when Brooke answered was just priceless lol then after 109 for some reason Mark made it seem like they were just bonded or what ever

Marissa and Summer had a way better friendship then Brooke and Peyton if you ask me and this is coming from someone who likes BP

any ways PH and NL are the only most realistic friendship to be build on this show everything else is either contrived or dysfunctional lol

Well I still like the NP friendship. To me its still one of the most genuine relationships on the show.
