Well, S3 was the one where I thought that's where her storyline was headed. I was so sick of the whole BL crap and didn't like Lucas.

I think we should be able to engage in a respectful discussion about the issues surrounding a relationship, even if that's the relationship you ship. What I said involved Peyton and it wasn't anything bad. BL was a mess in S3 and Peyton was in middle, whether I liked that or not. You can ship two people and recognize they are flawed.
Anyway, nice gifs. Sad but so sweet.  |

I agree, & I do recognize that BL are flawed, but the phrasing 'BL crap' rubbed me the wrong way. Really, the show has been over for years, & I just like to focus on the parts of it that make me happy, so I'll discuss BL with other BL fans, JP with other JP fans etc. After almost 20 years of triangle talk, I'm not interested in it anymore
 & I'm not saying anyone else has to handle fandom that I do, but I'd just appreciate it if, with me, we stick to jeyton in here  That was such a bittersweet moment   __________________

It was crap what they were going through. All of the couples went through crap. If you took offense to that or misinterpreted what I posted, you could have asked. I know plenty of BL fans who agree with me and who I've been able to have this same conversation with.
It is ok to discuss other ships as it pertains to Jeyton, which is what I did. Me and Sam can worry about what's discussed in the threads. Thanks.  |

That's your perception because it isn't. Peyton was dealing with a lot in S3 which is why I even brought up BL. She was in love with her best friend's boyfriend and ran to Jake for all the wrong reasons. She said Luke's name in her sleep which is why Jake rejected her in the end. Is that not what happened? That doesn't make me love Jeyton any less. I can't fathom fans being unable to discuss these things nearly 20 years later.

I know what you meant. But there are a lot of things that led to Peyton going to Savannah. I don't know about you but I like to fully discuss the couples I ship. You may want to focus on the happy times only but that's not how life works. That's not interesting to me. Jeyton was flawed as well and there are many aspects of their relationship that although they are sad, they are great to discuss.
