If Alexis wasn't on Gilmore Girls, what current TV show would you like to see her in?
 

Totally borrowed this from the Adam board, but anyway. :D The title is pretty much explanitory, but I was wondering if Gilmore Girls never existed or if the show stopped airing, what current TV show would you like to see her star in, or possibly guest star in?

If she wasn't on GG anymore, or if the show never existed - I think I would rather have her trying to start/continue her movie career then anything else. And I'm sure most of you may think the same thing.

But ignoring all movie prospects aside, I would love to see her in Everwood or Arrested Development. I don't know how they would could cast her, but those are two shows I can imagine Alexis starring/guest-starring in. :)

I'd like to see her on The O.C., and maybe One Tree Hill if she got to interact with Lucas.

I think she would be amazing on LOST, I love that show.

I don't watch the show, but I'd kind like to see her on Joan of Arcadia. I'm just interested in seeing how she and Amber are on screen together since they're friends now. We rarely see Alexis out with anyone she's worked with other than Milo and Lauren, on a few occasions, so I'm just curious and want to see them on screen together before STP.

I'll have to think about some other shows that I'd like to see her on.

All of those are good suggestions! Especially Everwood, The O.C. and Joan Of Arcadia. LOST is a show I haven't seen, so can't comment on that one. :)

Also, I would have loved to see Alexis guest-starring in Friends! And I bet she would do great on Alias. :D

I'd like to see her with Amber in JoA, too. Lost was another good idea. I could see her in some cool show like CSI as something different. Ooh, or any comedy. I like Jess's idea of Arrested Development. :)

I also would like her in a show like CSI or maybe 24! I think that would be a nice new experience!

I agree, I think seeing Alexis on Joan of Arcadia would be fun. And it'd be fun to see her as one of the crazies on something like Law and Order or ER.

Very good question. Thats kind of a tricky one. I've gotten so attached to Alexis as Rory. But if there was another show out there she could be one I would probablly say Everwood or One Tree Hill. Both are great shows, and I think Alexis could totally fit into one of those.

I really like those suggestions, Dorothy. I could definitely see her on ER or Law & Order (or CSI, as Emmy suggested) as a guest star. Any of those shows could definitely give her an interesting role -- a completely different role than on GG.

Oh, totally forgot about Joan of Arcadia. I love that show a lot, it's actually on my tv right as I type this. I think it would be great if Alexis went on that show. It's such a great show to watch, and the acting in that show is excellent. She could play God, for like an episode. That would be cute.

This is tough. Considering there are a lot of bad shows out there and while she may have in upcoming projects we havent seen her spread her wings.

The OC might be good. The writing is good. Though this year the "adult" storyline is considerably more interesting than the "teen" one. Could put her on Smallville. As pretty as Kristin is, it's hard to imagine Alexis doing worse. Though that isn't exactly a ringing endorsement.

Joan of Arcadia is a well written show but I'm not sure it would be a good fit for her. I cant see her being neurotic enough for the role. And she'd have a harder time portraying an underdog than Amber. You'd have a much tougher sell saying that Alexis can't find a date! If Joan wasnt a "lovable loser" the show just wouldnt work as well.

Lost is a good ensemble show. But being "pregnant" girl would be a waste. Evangeline Lilly's role would be cool. I can't see it. But would be fun to see in her in an "action role." Of course who knows whether she'd actually be good at it. But I want to see it anyway. Same goes for Alias.

But if I was to pick a network show I'd say Arrested Development. Not sure what role she'd have or how they/d fit her in but that is a great show with great writing that would find a way to make whatever she can do work.

But why limit ourselves to Network shows? So I'm going to have my official pick be an HBO show. Carnivale. I think she'd be great either as Sophie (Clea DuVall) or Libby (Carla Gallo).

How about Alexis and Liza Weil on the L Word? Or we could be really evil and have it be with Lauren Graham instead. :devil:

Ohh, I could totally see her playing like on L&O or ER. Maybe being a friend of a victim or actually being the killer.....ooohh craziness..:lol:
