Thanks for the pics. I also TRIED to go to the taping. They let in 1 to 20 in the standby line. I was 22 (which was about maybe 12 people). It was phone generated so getting there early didnt do much good. People in line didn't know who the guests were. When someone else in the line mentioned Alexis Bledel it drew blank stares. Everyone was there for Letterman. And someone mentioned the "real" tickets are sent out up to a year in advance. So actually seeing a guest you want to see is next to impossible. As opposed to just seeing David which is far easier.

Didn't see Alexis enter. Though I did bring my modeling card just in case I could get her to sign it. I did hear two CBS staffers walking outside criticizing the makeup on a guest's mother. Which leads me to ask if the woman next to Alexis is her mother (who had redhair in a previous picture we've seen).

I found the wedding thing interesting because people in Argentina are such night owls eating and going out often quite late.

Also found the stuff about her dad interesting. I wonder if his "advertising job" was with Coca Cola who her grandfather was a bigwig in? And a musician too. Shows a flare for the artistic on both sides of the family.

A dog? She always struck me as a cat person. Though I guess those little dogs are kinda meant to be surrogate cats who are too messy to properly use kitty litter.

If you're talking about the lady in the last picture, I don't think that's not her mom. Her mom is a lot older than that lady looks.

I loved the interview, it was really funny and this time she seemed really relaxed. The story about the cop and thinking that she was being punk'd was hilarious.
I also loved the way she said "Buenos Aires" and I do agree with her hispanics do tend to party a lot when there is a wedding.

I was checking the links in the first post to scans of magazines in which Alexis was feautured, and noticed that almost none of them work. Does anyone have these articles saved somewhere?

And if you notice that there are some magazine completely missing from the list, please let me know. All help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks. I posted that picture awhile back but couldn't find it anywhere on my harddrive. The Latina outttake picture does to me look a bit like the woman in the picture by Alexis at Letterman. Albeit it with far less makeup and airbrushing. And she is only in her 50s (I recall finding both her and her husband were born in 1955).

Only one who might know for sure is that girl who posted awhile back who said attends St Agnes Academy.

Made an HD version of the interview which is 164 megs rather than 10 megs. But it is higher (1280 x 720) resolution. So if that interests you, here it is divided into two rars. Rapidshare has download limits but I've used an alternate to make it more easily doable. Probably not something for dialup people.

I'm the one that goes to school there. I don't think I've seen Mrs. Bledel (maybe but I don't really pay attention to the administration at my school). I looked in last years yearbook and she looks a lot older than that woman (you are talking about the woman with the black headband and holding a purse right?).

Cool! I checked out the school's website while trying to get information on Alexis and it seemed surprisingy progressive for a Catholic school. Course to a student every place seems fascist.

I heard two CBS employees snarking (if I recall correctly it was something like this. "That was the guest's mother? She did awful things with the makeup. What was she thinking with her face?") and after seeing an older woman with reddish hair next to Alexis in that picture I thought, "Hmmmmmm." (As well as what is so wrong with the makeup on either of them?)

My man concern with the two pictures is the weight. Alexis' mom in the Latina outtake looks a lot thinner. Though of course studio shots can (and often are) manipulated to look more flattering. At least to me, despite Alexis obviously looking a LOT closer to a fashion model, the faces of Alexis and the woman with redhair seem to match.

But as I said. Lottie (being our Agnes inside source) would be the best judge. The rest of us can't make a solid judgement without having a restraining order placed against us.

I don't know what you mean by course to a student every place seems fascist but our school is a laptop school which means that everyone who goes there has to have a laptop and we use it for most of our classes.

I looked up the school website after Alexis got some award for promoting sex eduation (can't remember the name of the group). Thought it might be fun to see what she was taught so I looked up the website. The educator guide seemed a lot more progressive than I thought it would be including dealing with issues such as students coming out of the closet.

Throughout the webpage I saw the school having a very moderate positive tone. Which contrasted with some of the catholic schools around here which all have extremely large banners about abortion facing the road and are currently embroiled in a controversy where students are being threatened with expulsion if their parents don't attend mass. Course websites do present a happier and more cheerful picture than newspaper articles.

But still I couldn't help but come away with the impression that it did seem like a relatively cool school.

By "course to a student every place seems fascist" I just meant when you're on the inside faced with everyday stresses it's easier to see the negatives than the positives.
