Celebration of the boards 40,000 posts!


40,000 posts may seem like an odd number to celebrate, but we just couldn't wait! :yay: This board has been doing so great, and we really appreciate everything you all bring to it - opinions, news, pictures, arts and just general admiration for Alexis. :) So,

We asked you posters your thoughts on Alexis and this board, and we already got a few answers - feel welcome to post more and we'll add them as we go!

From Tes:
1. Alexis Bledel is my number one girl crush. I just love everything about her. She's so talented, really really beautiful and stunning and overall she seems a wonderful girl.

2. I love this board because everyone is so friendly and no one fights, I love that. I hate people fighting and all, it's so relaxing here. It's one of the first boards I always visit on fanforum and when I started posting here April 2006 I felt so welcomed by the mods. And it has the best Moderator's ever. :) Madelen and Ali are both wonderful girls. They are so awesome.

First about Alexis: iIthink she is an amazing artist and she is very special I can't put my finger on it but she has some kind of magic on her, something that makes you like her and believe everithing she does...

well and about the forum:
I'm new in alexis forum but I don't remeber life with out it anymore. Its such a fun place and here I have meet so many nice people everybody makes you feel home and free to talk about everithing an unique place just as Alexis.

This is what Ali had to say:
First of all I just want to thank all the wonderful posters on the Alexis board. We could not have had 40,000 posts without you guys. You make my moding job so easy. The Alexis board such a great board. Everyone here is so nice and caring. I think I love this board so much because we have posters who care and are open to anyone. I also want to thank my co-mod Madelen. Mad-you are great and I could not have asked for a better co-mod. Thank you for always being there and being an amazing moderator.

From me:
I completely agree with Ali, we have the best posters. :group_hug: I love that this board is full of diverse people from around the world. We can talk about anything from Alexis (of course) to our own lives, and always have a fun and interesting time.

We might not always share the same opinions, but our disagreements never end in a fight. That's one of the best things about this board. Everyone can agree to disagree. Modding this board is so much fun, never a hassle.

And Ali, is the sweetest. I'm lucky to have her as a co-mod, she does a wonderful job on this board. Thanks! :hug:

Also, Alexis is a wonderful actress and a great role model. I really look forward to seeing what her next move will be after Gilmore Girls. I really hope we continue to see her acting. :nod:
