yeah this is what I ended up doing!

if I ask them they usually say they viewed the forum but could't find a way on how to post/register.... perhaps it's not too visible despite me being able to see it

Lately FF often has some server connection issues for short time periods. Where the forum is completely down for a few minutes here and there over the day.

Now it is also super slow besides having server connection issues. Not sure what's going on it hasn't been that bad in years.

Load times have been at a snails pace for me today, as well. It's the first of the month so it makes sense.

Beginning of the month it can be expected cause board addition and monthly board post count where this is the first I've seen it this slow in months but not usual

there are often issues the first Sunday of the month depending on the number of name changes for Moderators and other team members.

I don't know why but I'm not getting the e-mail notifications I'm asking for. I always choose the "instant email notification" in the thread subscription, but no e-mails (and they're not in the spam folder).
Do you know what could be wrong?

While there is an option for email, it does not actually work. There is a subscription folder when you go to your "User CP" and you can see threads that you've subscribed to. That's the only way you'll be able to keep up.

Hi NicoAngel. Like Jackie said, currently the email notification doesn't work. Here's what's written about it on the OP of this thread:

Subscribing To Boards or Threads At the bottom left of each individual board, you'll see an option to "Subscribe to Forum". Inside a thread, you'll find "Subscribe to this Thread" listed at the bottom of the page. When you subscribe to a board or thread, those boards and threads will be listed in your UserCP. This feature is useful to keep track of where you regularly post because subscribed threads will show if a new post has been made in those threads. Please note that the email notification feature is currently disabled.

Hi.

I registered here a few days ago, in order to PM another user.
I had a few issues with registering, as I initially didn’t receive my activation email, and couldn’t confirm my email address. The next day I finally got it, and I confirmed my email address.

However, I still get a message that the feature to send private messages is disabled for me. I couldn’t find any information about the PM feature normally being limited for new users, and I couldn’t find anywhere I could contact anyone for support.

Anyone able to help?

Yesterday evening and this morning I've been unable to get access to the 'old' BKC forum due to a run time error message. Now I know it's not that active, but I still check it just in case. It also still has the usefull Battlegroups generator on it. Anyone else having problems accessing the site?
