I need to take my dog to the vet tomorrow for his monthly check-up. He turned 12 last Saturday.

Looks like the freezing rain they were predicting missed us. I have a physio appointment this morning, so I'm glad I won't have to worry about slippery sidewalks.

Yes, Chris. I will invite everyone over for French onion soup. Some people add brandy to it. That is far too strong for me so I leave it out. The only alcohol in my version is white wine.

I'm glad you missed the freezing rain, Chris. Some people in the UK experienced the aurora borealis in the last 2 days. I'm too far south to have seen it though. It is sometimes seen in Scotland and parts of England.

Good thing the vet opens early so I already took my dog there and was still able to go to work on time. Every birthday also makes me anxious, ngl.

Julie - the Northern Lights are really cool to see. Several years back we lived a bit north of here and there was a spectacular display. The sheets of colour in the sky were amazing! It was incredibly cold that night and the car's heater couldn't keep the windshield defrosted. Where I live now, we occasionally see white, maybe a little green, but not the red.

Mel - I hope your last work day this week goes smoothly. Enjoy your long weekend!

Got some new physio exercises yesterday. I'd really like to get a bit more range of motion in my ankle and get rid of this limp.

Today was good. Now for a long weekend. I’m going to visit my niece and beiges in the morning and then my mom and I are going to go to lunch. And I have book club tomorrow night.
