Chris, I haven't been swimming because I haven't done much of anything because of the lockdown. I recently went for a walk along the beach with my family though so that was nice.

Julie - I prefer walking on a flat surface, and our beach has a board walk, so that works well for me. Haven't done it yet this year though because there always seems to be lots of people around.

The boardwalk here goes along the beach. At the end near the parking lot, there are flower gardens on the parking lot side. There's a couple of gazebos and benches for sitting along the way. I'd call the pier what goes out into the lake.

It reached up to 37c here so hot, that’s like 90 degrees American!

Today I was out and about getting a new air purifier since my 10 yr old died and I was starting to get allergic reactions to my cat again. Then visited my parents who have air conditioning and then I’m now just watching an Alfred Hitchcock movie, The Birds! I have to get some food tomorrow although not much since next week I’ll be out of town.

Some parts of the UK are extremely hot. It's 36 degrees C in London.

Here in Cornwall it's early 20s but 90% humidity so feels very hot. I love it.

I love Hitchcock movies. I love to watch The Birds but I don't quite get it.
