Happy Thanksgiving to our American posters!

The malls are getting crazy. I'm glad I started early because I can just imagine there will be more people next month.

Did more Christmas shopping and I think I'm halfway done. This is the first time in a long time I'm early as I usually do my Christmas shopping the last minute. And if I forget anyone, there's still time.

It's also month end. I don't have work on the 30th!

ETA: Oooohhh someone just gave me a box of mooncake pastry. This is one of my favorite snacks.

Malls here are only allowed to have sales on weekends not weekdays to avoid the congested traffic of people going to work, to parties, and school (until the 14th/15th for some). I don't think it's going to solve anything for traffic but that would only mean it is going to be a pain on weekends with everyone out and mall sales will be everywhere.

I hope you're all having a great weekend so far. I'm watching some random rom com Christmas movie on Netflix now.

Lindsay - they regulate when stores can have sales? It would seem better to me to have the sales spread out.

We went to a restaurant, I had a had chicken and it was yummy!

I watched World Cup soccer and Alpine skiing this weekend.

There are lots of Christmas films on TV at the moment but I haven't started watching any yet.

Julie - did the people/teams you were cheering for win? I think Canada has been knocked out of the World Cup already.

Lots of Christmas films airing here too. Maybe I'll check some out in December, but it still seems too early for me.

I'm watching Wales v England at the moment. England will go through if they avoid losing by 4 goals.

One of my favourite Christmas films is Deck The Halls starring Danny DeVito and Matthew Broderick.

Chris, all malls in the capital city only because it's always traffic here since the roads are congested. It sounds really bizarre to have malls only have sales on weekends just to ease the traffic here but yeah, it has come to that. This new "regulation" will only run through the holidays then after that it's back to normal.

Norman, I'm glad you had fun last weekend.

Julie, I like that you're watching sports. I only watch tennis & F1 and both are over for me so I've got nothing to watch.

I had a busy 2 days at work my goodness. Month end is creeping up on me but glad that it's over now and I don't have work today (local holiday) and I needed this after having such a busy month end.
