Wound up going down to the city today to visit the in-laws.

Back to School Night just ended and I got to meet some of my kiddos for this year!!! I already know we will have some runners. I teach Special Education and it's never a boring day in this field. :lol: School doesn't start for them until Monday though. One more day of professional development, exciting! :yay: Going home now and tomorrow will focus a lot of time going through SPED folders. Paperwork is my least favorite part of my job, but it is an important component. ;)

Cece - not very many people like paperwork.;) While documenting things is necessary, it can also get tedious.

I've spent all morning cleaning out my car. Went to the car wash. I bought some hanging air freshners for the car.. Spiced apple mmmm :)

Ah, there is nothing like a good clean car. I'd love to get mine detailed at a place. Even tho my car is generally clean. I've barely driven it this summer off, I'm still on one tank of gas since early July? :eek::lol:

I finally vacuumed up that spider I saw like two days ago. I yelled again when I saw it, but it's over now, and, whew! Creepy when you know it's "around" but where??

Heat wave is happening here, so I'm being a hermit, staying indoors in A/C. Can't wait til autumn weather arrives.

Despite the heat, I am in the mood for some cream of mushroom soup with crackers. :drool:

I am going into work tomorrow (Saturday) to help some colleagues with their classrooms. I'm fortunate to have an aide (teacher helper) so my room is ready to go! I'll spend some of my time tomorrow planning for the week as well, but the first week will mostly be spent getting to know my students and establishing routines so they know what to expect and what I expect from them! It'll be a tiring but great week!!!

Doing some grocery shopping later and will visit my mom and nephew. :)

Yep spiders get hide in some weird and random places. Never know when they're gonna appear!
