Hi everyone! Just stopping in to say hello. Been hanging around for awhile but finally decided to take the plunge and post. Haven’t been active for awhile.

Julie - I love loyalty points too. I tend to save them up. Have finally persuaded hubby to do that too. With his hardware store programme, he'd spend them all right away. Now he realizes that it's nicer to think you've got something for free, than to get small discounts along the way.

Sometimes I save them up. I get tokens too so I like to spend them on things that I like. The shops know what I usually buy so they give me tokens for them.

Tokens would be a nice perk. We don't have those here. It's nice of the staff to keep you in mind.

Have an appointment to bottle some wine this afternoon. Making a batch at the u-brew place is cheaper than buying it in the store, and it's convenient to have a few bottles on hand.

the Dawson's Creek fandom was huge back in the day. I watched the first season, but never kept up with it. It's one of those shows I think maybe I should go back and watch.

There is a Dawson’s Creek that exists in BC somewhere.

I never watched that show, but I’ve never really been into teen soap/dramas (except the original 90210 until they graduated HS, )

It's a long weekend here to celebrate Queen Victoria's birthday. Not that anybody really celebrates that. It's mainly considered the time to start your garden or go camping.

We have a long weekend (Thursday to Sunday) at the beginning of June to celebrate Queen Elizabeth II's Platinum Jubilee.

It's amazing that she's been Queen for so long! It's hard to imagine Charles as king.

It's a cold, rainy Sunday here. Will probably get out to the grocery store later. Also need to do some reorganizing in the bedroom closet.

I will find it weird to have a king at all. I have only known the Queen. All of our money will have to be changed to portray a different monarch.
