Gay - I'm doing well, thanks for asking.

Julie - I still can't imagine planting. We routinely get frost here until the end of May. Having said that, guess it is time to think about replacing the trees we had removed from the front yard last summer.

I hope you enjoy choosing new trees, Chris.

Thanks Julie. Hubby called the nursery, and they won't have all their stock in until next week, so we'll hold off.

I have a sore spot behind my ear that my glasses are irritating. I've switched to an old pair of glasses and it feels better today.

I wear glasses too. It's horrible when that happens.

Can't say I've ever had this particular issue before, but it certainly wasn't nice. It's feeling a lot better now after having switched to an old pair of glasses.

Did you have a good weekend?

That's good, Chris.

Yes, thank you. I hope you had a good weekend, too. It's been a long weekend here because of Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Easter Monday.

Julie - it's the same here. Although Monday was only a bank, post office, school holiday. Most people have to work.

Gay - thanks. I hope you enjoyed your weekend.

Got some really nice, flavourful strawberries at the store yesterday.

Thanks, Gay!

I love strawberries. I have left my strawberry plants from last year at my allotment. They have spread so I hope to get a good crop this year. That's if I can keep the slugs away.

I find there's a real difference in flavour between the local strawberries we get in June, and those imported to the grocery store. We pig out when strawberries are in season here.

There was an ambulance next door this morning. Lorie is in her late forties, so not that old but has had some health issues. Hope all turns out okay for her.

We have British and Spanish strawberries here. I love both types but my allotment strawberries are special.

I hope Lorie will be OK.

I think our imported strawberries come from Florida, California & Mexico.

If I don't see Lorie's hubby out today, I"ll have to call over and check in with them.

A rainy day here. Better than snow, but I'd really like to see some sun.

It's getting a bit warmer here so hopefully it will stay that way.

My weather is still all over the place. Supposed to be a high of 9 today,, 18 on sunday, then 2 on Tuesday.

Was woken up this morning by one of those spam phone calls about questionable charges on my credit card.
