I had 15 last night. It had been a nice afternoon, and there were about 7 really young kids between 5:30 and 6:00. Then it started to pour rain, so didn't get many more. One really cute pair had the little girl dressed as a princess and mom as a dragon.

It's great that you two got so many kids.

I didn't get any because I live in a flat. It's awkward to ring the bells of people in flats because they would need to keep going down the stairs to answer the door.

Same here, Chris. Lidl has had Christmas food on the shelves for a few weeks.

I haven't stepped foot in a store or a mall in ages. Christmas already?? People, its two months away. An entire summer vacation length from school you have to wait through. Just enjoy November for what it is?

Its so perfect here weather wise and scenery wise. This morning I was driving toward this cornflower blue sky, huge orange and green trees being front lit by the light of the sunrise, with a pink hue, making all the colors surreal in their color glow. It was amazing! Great start to the day!

Leanne - sounds like a lovely way to start the day

Julie - guess that retailers around the world want people to start thinking about Christmas

Tina - I enjoy Christmas decorations, but I'm not a fan of crowds

Got my flu shot this afternoon.

Yeah, I don't like crowds either but this mall doesn't get that crowded. Just like trick or treating, malls are a rare breed because everyone likes to shop online now.

Hope everyone is having a good day.

I'm glad you enjoyed the scenery, Leanne.

Yes, Chris. The shops probably want to start selling Christmas stuff early. Or they want to ensure that they can manage to buy the stuff before the supplies run out.

I had a good day thanks, Tina. I watched Poltergeist. That was scary.

I know lots of people love them, but I don't like scary movies.

As to malls, for the most part I enjoy the convenience of having several stores under one roof. I really dislike the current trend of having a bunch of stand alone stores in a big parking lot.

Hope it was the original Poltergeist, not the remake! I am a fan of all things scary, so I watched that one around age 11 and it was so cool!
