I'm just watching sports on TV, Chris.

reason to believe

Aside from family stressing me out a bit, I’m just having coffee and starting my day. During summer, all the days run into each other so everyday feels like a weekend So far, I’m going out each day to get items or one errand and then, well, just recovering from such a weird work year dealing with all the changes we had to work around for the pandemic in schools.

Next year I get to work in a new place (out of 4 places) so I’m looking forward to that change.

Leanne - you seem to switch up work places quite often. You enjoy the new challenges?

Dave - you're safe from the storm?

Julie - you're quite the sports fan.

yeah, we just got some wind and rain for a day. no big damage here in Virginia Beach.

Chris

It's rainy here today.

I realized today that my hanging basket on the porch is blocking the view of my house number from the road. Usually I have an impatiens there that stays fairly compact, but I changed things up and put in geraniums. The plant is doing well and really spread out.
Decided that I'd better take it down and put it somewhere else.

I'm glad you don't have much storm damage where you are, Dave.

I just moved the plant to the backyard for now. It makes a nice splash of colour there.

I'm fine thanks, Chris. It has been hot and sunny today.

My week was okay. How was yours?

Covid restrictions are being eased here today. Personally I'm going to remain cautious while out and about.

My week was fine thanks, Chris. We are having a mini heatwave here. It's about 31°C. Apparently it will only last until Tuesday.

Covid restrictions will be lifted in England on 19th July.

It's still very hot here. I can't keep cool because I don't have any fans or air conditioning. It's not worth getting them because it doesn't usually stay hot for long enough.

Hi Chris, yeah, every few years, I need a change of scenery or a new challenge in a library and perhaps a slightly shorter commute! I’m looking forward to September with my new place added to the other places I work too.

I’m just taking it easy before all the work starts again.

Wound up running up to the grocery store this afternoon to pick up a few things. Spent a bit more than I had anticipated. Things seem to add up quicker these days.
