Snow here. Just flurries, not enough to stick around and accumulate. And my internet was down this morning. Not a great way to start my day.

It seems that when we see lockdowns in Europe, North America soon follows the pattern!


Tomorrow is Halloween, I'm gonna listen to a livestream on Youtube of a scary story for adults podcast.


This morning at work, the kids and staff are dressed up in costume and they had a livestream going into classrooms to music to show off their costumes. I didn't wear one though so I said I'm a librarian cause I have the glasses!

I wonder if I'll get any trick or treaters tonight? I know of 3 families with young children on the block, so I've got a bit of candy on hand to give out.

I didn’t get any but we live in an apartment building!

I did see a lot of small fireworks going off now cause the sky is easily seen since they cut down my beloved trees across from my big window. My cat really didn’t like that!

I did up 25 treat bags and left them on the porch for the kids to help themselves. They were all gone by time I turned the lights off at 8. Have to admit that I missed opening the door and seeing the costumes.

Yeah, the fun part for candy givers is seeing the costumes, I think!

Yeah, since Halloween is gone, I went looking for a new avatar and had to stop at this quote from the Simpsons cause its a perfect "day/week after Halloween" quote.

It was a good Monday. Now its Tuesday and its pouring rain so hard, it was slippery on the roads and I took a different road to work cause the one I use has a sign "prone to flooding" so I had a feeling it might be flooded today.

I'm okay. Same old, same old here. I wish we'd turn the corner with covid.

I wish we would too. Hopefully the month long lockdown we have in England at the moment will help. Hospitals have been cancelling routine operations because there are so many Covid cases.
