SATC The movie: dust off your manolos satc is headed for the big screen
 

This is a thread to discuss the movie that could've/should've/would've been.

We can discuss things that we heard were going to happen in the movie and discuss things that we wished would've happend had they made the movie.

I'll begin.

Stuff I heard was going to be in the movie

Cynthia Nixon said that Miranda and Charlotte were going to travel somewhere (I think she said to China or Japan) to finalize Charlotte's adoption plans and pick up her baby. Miranda was going to be Charlotte's laywer.

Stuff I would've liked to have seen in the movie

A wedding. Wouldn't it been hillarious for Samantha to pop in and say: "I have an announcement. Smith proposed."

Aww, didn't even know there would be a movie. Aww Charlotte finally getting a baby would be awesome. I don't know if i'd see this at the theatre, but maybe on HBO. I think it would be cute. :)

aww Smith proposes to Sam .. i could only wish for this to happen ..it would be great :)

I wish a movie would have happened...but only if it was well thought out.

i still hope for a movie.. i miss the girls .. i mean i have all seasons on DVD but i still miss seeing something new

I would have loved to see a movie. Maybe it's still possible in the future, I don't know...

That would be so much fun to see how they get married, but i think that Sam would run away screaming :lol:

But i would love to see how Charlotte got her baby, then she has everything that she always wanted.

Cynthia said that the whole thing w/her and Charlotte going to (wherever) was going to be hillarious. She said: "Can you imagine Charlotte and Miranda there?"

I would have loved to see Charlotte and Harry with a baby and Sam marrying Smith.. That would have been too cute.
Miranda and Charlotte in Japan or China would have been interesting.. another country other people, what they would have behaved like.. SOund interesting... ;)

I don't think the producers would of had Samantha and Smith get married, even though I would of liked to see it. Maybe Samantha hits menopause or she gets pregnant or Carrie gets pregnant. That'd be interesting.

I would have loved to have seen a movie or something like a reunion on HBO or something. I think it came down to SJP wanting to move on or something. I can respect that decision.

I could see the whole moving revolving around a Big/Carrie wedding and then in the end she would call it off or something.

I'm not sure if there will ever be a movie...I hope so but I doubt there will.

It really surprises me that the show itself didn't end with all these things happpening. It really will make me mad not getting closure, but I guess i'll see the last eps first than decide how I feel about a movie. :)

I think everyone had some closure. I'm just glad they got rid of that numbskull, the Russian.

Well that's good closure was felt. :)
