Unfortunately it hasn't risen from the dead :( Think I might have to finally buy a new one!

I usually "feel" (like a Jedi) when it's time to buy a new one :lol:

I have now an ASUS (personal) and an HP (work).

I've finally given into Windows 8 :( But once you go past that awful apps screen (or whatever it is) it's actually pretty normal! I'm sure I'll start to hate it soon :lol:

I've gone for a Toshiba - I wanted speed but without paying too much ;)

Toshipa is good really, the common types here are hp and dell

If you don't need to use it for specific application, there are plenty of choices.

Too much choice :lol: There seemed to be more HP options but I have one for work and it drives me mad sometimes.

I seem to be having wifi problems now :( It never ends :lol:

hp is fast and light in weight, but heats fast and its screen is so fragile

I agree on the heat problem, like having an oven.

I'll see tomorrow, I have a document to prepare for tomorrow:(
