Tara is both a water protector and land defender. She is founder of @giniwcollective. And she is a frontline leader in the fight to #StopLine3 pipeline. Line 3 cuts through her Anishanaabe homelands in Minnesota. And she is doing all she can, alongside other water protectors, to stop it.
Her written account (swipe) of violent, purposefully torturous, and deeply degrading experiences at the hands of our government — those tasked to protect and serve — and of the #Enbridge corporation (the ones they are really working for) is both infuriating and heart wrenching.
