that depends on what you means by taking value of a relationship and opening her heart again because that sounds a lot like what she did with lucas in s3 and we know how well it worked out for her lol

Everytime Brooke opened her heart, they just broke it in a million pieces:

- Lucas s1
- Felix s2 (it started turning into something serious until...)
- Lucas s3
- Chase? Who knows what happened, i guess they just took different roads after high school
- Owen? Took off the minute she wanted to start something and wanted a family
- Even Julian spent more quality times with Alex, even telling her personal stuff (like sterility) while Brooke was left on her own.

I can't blame Brooke for being insecure and not completely opening her heart, they all took way too much advantage of it.

we can definitely all agree on that, it was even more frustating in s7 because julian was wall aware of this insecurities but that's another story

Poor Julian felt like he had to save Alex from herself and he did but that was at the expanse of Brooke.

Remember when Brooke found out Mouth watched the time capsule and got mad at him? It never got really resolved. The next episode (or at least the next episode they had scenes together, so episode 3x20... it's like it never happened).

honestly, he was mostly to blame on this, he could have easily sent on her rehab and that was it, when they got back together in 7x18 i still think that he should've also appologized, bu anyway...

that's true, i think keith's death played a big part on it so we can suppose they got over it pretty quickly and writers focused more on mouth being mad at rachel
and talking about unresolved storylines, i wonder why they didn't focused on people's reaction about rachel being the one who find the video

^Because no one knows about it but Mouth, he never told anyone, still hasn't to this day imo. He told her he wouldn't tell and he didn't.

in one season, rachel caused so many troubles: seducing lucas, trying to be the leader of the cheerleaders, the fashion contest, stealing the video, sleeping with cooper/the drunk speech/the accident
i do think that mouth should have told the true, especially since most of the times, she never took her friendship seriously enough (at first, she was friend with him also to pissed brooke off) but if everybody knew, she'd had been in serious trouble
