So my mom saw oncology, they said she has essential hemorrhagic thrombocythemia. Which is a blood cancer of the bone marrow. As of now she's just having to start blood letting treatments, and in 3 weeks when she sees him again she will be started on some kind of meds.

As long as she can manage it, and it doesn't turn into leukemia, than she can just get by with coming in for blood treatments.

Hopefully! It's in her bone marrow which we know that stuff going on in the bone marrow leads to leukemia. As of now though, the doc thinks she could go years before even having to possibly worry about it.

Yes!! She just has to keep up with treatments.

Omg was long work wise! I was supposed to work in the bookstore but my boss asked if I'd work Thursdays as well in the cafe because a colleague keeps calling in because she hates working in there. So I worked in there today, and our delivery guy didn't show up till after closing!! I had to stay an additional 2hrs to get all the food out. Ugh!
