Board Customization - Please Read
 

Hi everyone,

The Fan Forum Graphics Team is in the process of customizing message boards and now it's your turn! Please post any picture and color suggestions that you have on this thread. We would also appreciate it if you could let us know which photos you’d like to see in the board graphic. Any help is appreciated, but we ask that you please do not post pictures directly onto this thread, as that will severely slow down the load time for people with slower connections.

You'll be allowed to vote for your favorite graphic in a few weeks from today, and it’ll continue for a few days at which point the thread will be closed and we will immediately start customizing your board.

Your votes and suggestions for possible colors and the best graphic will be taken into serious consideration, but in the interest of seeing every board receive the best customized look possible, the final decision concerning how this board will be customized will be made by the members of the Graphics Team, because we want to make sure that the selected graphic and colors fit into the overall design scheme that we've established for Fan Forum.

Finally! How exciting. :pinkie: We've made some great progress on our colour and graphic preferences on our Board Customisation discussion thread already, so it should be somewhat easier to reach a point of compromise over the next few weeks. :thumbs_up:

I'll bring over some of the ideas that went down well, and everyone else - please don't hold back. Feel free to to contribute any previous or new ideas and suggestions here. :)

I'm with you, Bel! :wiggle: We're more than ready for our makeover. I know that whatever the graphics team create, it'll look fabulous - 'cause it's Delta and she always looks fabulous. ;) So we don't have a whole lot to worry about there. :lol:

I didn't see the "Board Customisation discussion thread" so I deleted the colours images that I posted tonight :pout: damn LOL

I like the 2nd one from the Harper Bazaar shoot.

I personally prefer thumbnails as you can have some idea of the format without having a billion windows open :blush:

Aw, that's okay, Kel. If you remember roughly what colours or pictures you liked, you can always describe them and we can help you track them down. :)

ETA: Thanks for your feedback, Bel. While I'm leaning more towards the green combo at present, I've always been a fan of the Harper's shoot. It's classic, it really shows Delta's personality and I love the colours. I'm glad you prefer thumbnails. I think they make things a lot easier in a practical and visual sense aswell. :D

I didn't go to bed til 5am so I've just got up, really :D But it *is* Sunday, after all :)

I think, the HB shoot is my favourite shoot, but I like the green combo for a colour *scheme*. So that gets more of my vote, I think :)

I also thought it might be a good idea to post a link to The Photo Album in this thread :)

That's exactly what I did last night! Only Mum woke me to go shopping at midday. I forgave her of course. :lol:

That's what I think about the whole scheme aswell. The first one works more strongly as an ensemble IMO. I also like how it incorporates a few dramatically different moods/impressions of Delta into one too. The HP shoot is all playful Delta and more IE because of that.

Good idea, posting the PA link, Rach. :thumbs_up: Eves' colour wheel might come in handy once again too.

It would be quite nice to have some IE Delta pics and MI ones, although I guess pics from the same photoshoot are easier to blend into a graphic. I'm sure whatever happens it'll look pretty!
