jamiebloch- A little postcard from NYC

I’ve been settling into a new (temporary) life in this wild, wonderful city these past few days and soaking up the thrill of knowing that for the first time in my life, I have nothing to do but commit to being the best artist I could possibly be. I am incredibly grateful to be spending the next 5 weeks studying the thing I felt I was born to do: tell stories and tell them well. ⁣

Things may be a little bit quiet on here as I immerse myself in challenge and change, new friends and new surroundings, and the opportunity to prove to myself that I deserve a place in an industry that often feels full. I wrote something recently about being at war with the in-between of transition - but something tells me that right now there is nowhere else I’m meant to be

jamiebloch- Celebrating a new year in a new place with new people and yet still somehow surrounded by love and gratitude that feels older than time. Saying goodbye to 22 feels like letting go of an old friend but there’s something tangible to the magic of 23 that I can already feel deep in my bones. ⁣

As always, thank you for all the kindness, wishes, and warmth from near and far - what a gift it is to feel celebrated wherever you are in the world. Now let the rest of it begin… whatever that may be
