Added you! I prefer them over Maya/Tristan and...Tori/Tristan.

But I do like all 3 friendships. These two are just my sour patch kids.

I have to say I still prefer Tori/Tristan, but to be fair, I think the fact that those two never competed over the same guy helps a lot. But there are much better than Maya/Tristan. I'm pleased to see that Tristan still seems to be closer to Zoe than Maya because frankly, he works best with characters who actually share his interests.

Agree, him and Maya never worked as best friends. I mean I think they make good friends but just not best friends, if that make sense. They need that zoe/tori character to make their friendship work imo. I actually love this friendship because its pretty much the only one that I feel works for Zoe. They both just kinda go together, two peas in a pod sorta thing

Zoe/Tristan certainly reminds me of Tori/Tristan but I feel like Z/T is more exciting. I get how Zoe can feel like she was introduced as Tori's replacement but Zoe is much edgier. I can't remember if I ever thought of Tori as a mean girl (probably because she was Maya's rival) but now it is hard to. Anyway what I'm saying is that these two are sassier. Their conversations, the gossiping, usually has me glued to the screen.

I was going to say that I hoped that the Maya/Tristan/Zoe feud would finally be over but I don't know if it ever will be since friends often fight. I don't think it will ever go back to how it first was with Tristan being the middle man while Maya and Zoe have their rivalry. Maya and Tristan had that big blow up recently. Zoe and Tristan have never had a falling out like that have they? Yet...

I can't imagine Zoe and Tristan having a falling out. Something major would have to happen. If Zoe's fling with Miles didn't do it, what would? But you can never tell with this show.

Yeah, I'm in agreement with that. I think for now, this is this duo's core friendship on the show and I don't see much stopping that, even for a little bit.

I wonder why a bigger deal wasn't made about Miles. I can't remember what happened in Paris when Z/M first dated but I don't remember any fighting. Tristan may have been too starstruck then. Is Tristan more threatened by the M/M relationship? More threatened by Maya in general? Maybe he is jealous of Maya but admires Zoe.

I think the conflict once Zoe and Miles started dating was more Maya vs Zoe with Tristan being disgusted by the relationship. It's just.. odd. When Tristan had just met Miles, he couldn't go to class because seeing Miles with Zoe hurt too much. But after Tristan actually dated him, somehow he's fine with seeing Miles kiss Zoe?

I forgot about that! I think I'm just going to accept it as Tristan still thinks that Miles is a screw up and his relationship with Zoe is doomed so he will let it run it's course. IDK. I do have to say that I'm relieved that there was no drama involved.

I'm relieved there was no triangle, but.. still. It's weird how Tristan seemed to have no reaction to the mess, especially when the end of Don't Look Back and possibly even Get It Together make it clear that he still feels something for Miles.

I like that idea for them and I could definitely see it. You could have Maya being the voice of reason and not getting involved. I think it would be more interesting if the shoplifting was Tristan's idea because we consistently see Zoe getting herself into various messes. So let Tristan be the one getting her into trouble for once.
