Spritey needs to come back to ! I haven't seen her around in here in forever. And wow she has a Fitz/Clare icon! But then again I was absent for awhile too (did I miss anything?).

I think one of my favorite SpinAsh interactions was this (paraphrased) -

Spinner: We need someone like George W. Bush, someone who'll take names and kick ass.
Ashley: Uh, that's okay, I'll take anarchy.

EVEN WHEN SHE PRETENDED TO BE DISGUSTED, IT WAS OBVIOUS THAT THEY WERE IN LOVE. I wish they had hooked up in season 7. Then Ashley would have stayed at Degrassi and actually graduated! He would go on to manage the Dot and she'd play music on weekends. It all makes so much sense.

Both would have been perfect opportunities to explore Spinash. lol though it may have been evil if Ashley turned to Spin because Jimmy couldn't get it up. Out of all the randomness that Degrassi has put out over the years, I really am surprised they never went there with these two.

I just had a revelation. As Degrassi Does/Goes/Whatevers Manhattan tells us, Spinner has been harboring feelings for Emma ever since he boycotted the caf. Only the writers got it wrong and he didn't boycott it over his health food dilemmas. Spinner boycotted the caf because it had bugs. Which led him to put them in Ashley's food. This is the tie that binds. What if Ashley had married Spinner instead?

Goddamn Spinner's fabricated memories of the reason why he boycotted the caf. Ugh! He needs to do just a little more soul-searching, but I guess that was more Ashley's thing. Yet another reason why they belong together!!!!!!
