As far as I am concerned Landon/Declan already had two exit storylines and I think that it would've made a lot more sense if his character was going to be killed off to not wait until he's off the show once again to do it. I don't even think Craig who is the writer's favorite had three exit storylines, LOL. This would be different to me if Landon/Declan had not already left for a second time because to me this would be like bringing back Alli for example and killing off her character because from what I can see she's already left for awhile as well. I also think that there are a lot more kids and separate groups on the show and more than when JT/Ryan was there. I think that there are characters returning like Fitz, Alli, Riley etc. who are bound to get some storylines and screen time as well. When watching the Holly J's current storyline with Sav it just reinforced to me that two seniors in a storyline will not get the screen time and character development that they deserve to have and that's exactly why I hope that rumor isn't true. Has there been any further news about this rumor?

Okay, this exit storyline would've been better if it's done that is would've been better if it were done earlier in my opinion. I always cringe when two seniors are put in a storyline not because they cannot handle and don't deserve storylines because they deserve storylines just like the other characters but, I also think that there's a long history on this show of dropping compelling storylines that would've given the seniors a decent storyline and screen time in favor of the younger kids even if it is a really stereotypical storyline. As an example from this year, Anya's mom has Cancer and that could've been a storyline for her character and any storyline that Sav could've had to give his character some growth and maturity have all been dropped and dropped quickly. The seniors from last year really weren't given much to do at all. I think Holly J's current storyline reinforces that this show for whatever reason doesn't like putting seniors in a storyline together regardless of the popularity of one of both of the characters involved.

Killing him off would be stupid, b/c what, it would be offscreen? its pointless. let him go to yale and just not be in the show. Is Charlotte def. staying after she graduates?

I think that even if Charlotte wanted to be on the show after Holly J graduated that it would be pointless because it is very obvious that the writers and the powers that be are not following the kids again in their life post "Degrassi" and I don't want her to be like Peter is now with no real point or storylines on the show. Look at how last year's seniors are split up across the U.S. and Canada and yes, killing him off would be stupid because he already left at the this point and that was enough of an exit storyline really. "Degrassi" doesn't have a history if killling major characters off-screen and this would be pointless because it's not like he's leaving he's already left at least from what I saw in "Love Lockdown."

Well, everyone wasn't going to be happy and say what you want about "Love Lockdown" and it's events, that episode really had people talking all over the internet which is exactly what I think that powers that be wanted. I think that it was important as to how Holly J saw what happened with Declan and a lot of people jumped the gun before even seeing "Love Lockdown Part 2" and even taking into consideration how Holly J felt about the situation.

And some of them are already trying to rationalize what she said. "Oh, she only going along with the message of the episode, because she doesn't want to talk bad about the show." Oh, come on. *rollseyes* It's like they are trying to put words or whatever in her mouth. For all they know she could really feel that way.

I didn't notice Sav and their storyline being mentioned at all either and even with Declan/Landon being gone people are still interested and talking about "Love Lockdown." I think that is more her talking about how she felt about the storyline than her being told what to say by the powers that be because of all of the questions that were asked not just focusing on the bit about the show.

So. What's your take on what happened between Holly J and Declan.

I thought it was a very interesting turn for their story to take. Him coming back I thought would either be really good or really bad... What I like about it is that both characters are sort of in the right and in the wrong. They're both making a mistake and they both have good intentions. So I thought it was really interesting. It wasn't black or white, it's very much a gray issue.

That's at least the Dolly J part of it.

Aw I like that Charlotte has taken the right approach and pointed out that it is a difficult subject, and blatantly isn't against Holly J and Declan otherwise she would have said something about how Declan was in the wrong

I really loved what she said, and it seemed like she didn't blame Declan which is good!

Slightly OT: But I was watching Life Unexpected and Landon was on. He's a druggie! It so different seeing him play this bad boy when Declan is such a preppy boy.
