Owen Milligan! Because he hasn't got one yet.
I'm making this thread because he hasn't got one yet or atleast I can't find it and he deserves one he is great and don't forget absolutly hot and awesome!!

He probably should have a thread since he's in the opening credits. For season 10 anyway...I haven't watched the season 11 one to remember much about it.
In the Boiling Point he always made me laugh, even if it was at inappropriate times. I really need a gif of that moment when Adam drops his tampons on the floor, Clare covers for him, and Owen wanders past saying "gross." __________________

Owen was in the new Teen Nick promo!
It went by really fast... like a blink-and-you-miss-it clip. Anyway...  He's definitely talking to Anya. There's no way he's not. He also looks pretty mad, so... maybe he WILL try to help her? Also, this seems to be taking place around the same scene as when she struts in with (Bianca?) and the blonde chick. __________________

^ Seriously that was great! I'm kinda warming up to Owen. I think he's a good supporting character. I don't think I'd be that interested in an Owen plot but I like how he's slowly getting involved with more characters. Like the Drew/Owen/Julian trio is really great.

Yeah, he (and much of the cast) has been tweeting about his music off and on for a while now. I don't think you'll see one of his songs show up on Degrassi, unless it starts airing on HBO.

Speaking of did you guys watch the video yet?
Honestly he's got some skills. The lyrics still get me: "Degrassi? 18? White? Money!" On a completely different note I liked Daniel's part in Degrassi in Haiti. It didn't feel like his comments were puffery or over the top, just honest and I really appreciated that. It's nice to get the chance to see a completely different side of him. Looks like in 11.5 Owen will follow suit, I'm actually looking forward to learning more about him and his family. |

^ I really enjoyed his scenes in Degrassi in Haiti as well! Completely get what you're saying, he seemed like he really was enlightened by the whole experience but not in an "over the top" way; he came off as being really genuine in the clips. I like Daniel, he seems like a fun and nice guy and I'm definitely interested to see where his music career is heading. I'm pretty sure he'll hit it big with his music some day.

I feel strange because I think that despite how alienated I felt from his character when he was introduced, I've really warmed up to this guy. I think I've said this before in an episode discussion thread but Owen is very "Jay" like in that he can do terrible things and then in the next episode be completely charming. His relationship with Anya during her dabbling in coke really helped him along. I really enjoyed that moment when she thought she could use him to try to play down her confusion over what to do with her future, only to find out that he actually has goals.

I really hope we get to see Owen get some kind of big storyline before he goes. Maybe in the first half of season 12. Of all the underdeveloped characters we have right now I'm most interested in him. Probably because with being a minor character Daniel Kelly has so far been nothing but amazing with everything he's had.

Where the heck was Owen in 11.5?! Hopefully he can get a real storyline next season. Also we need more Owen/Tristan scenes. He gets to show a different side of himself around his brother. But I'd also like to see a conflict between them.

Maybe it's because we haven't seen him in a while... or because we don't see him do much in general. But Owen's moments in last nights episode were some of my favorites. The way he he flipped out on Luke was just touching because you can really tell he does love and want to protect Tristan.
