Jake: Personally? Ashley. I mean, honestly, I never understood the Manny/Craig relationship. I just think the two characters wouldn't go well together in real life.

Ash's last journal entry.

I knew all along it wasn't him. The things Craig did, well not so much the things he did but the scary temper swings that made him do them - it wasn't like him at all.
But he is different than the person I knew before, in a major way. Now the Craig I know is a person who is sick, who needs help to deal with his problems, problems he can't help, caused by his brain chemicals being out of order. There are drugs to help, Craig also needs people to help, and I'm going to be one of those people. I'm going to get my Craig back and keep him this time. I can help take care of him. For a long time, if I have to. I almost married him before he found out he was bipolar, and those feelings haven't changed since. Now I just have to convince my mom that I'm not sacrificing myself for someone else -- at least now she understands that Craig isn't just some unpredictable heartbreaker who likes to create drama just for the sake of it. Of course, she questioned everything Craig said and did surrounding the whole proposal thing, maybe it was just his disorder talking, maybe it wasn't really him saying he wanted to marry me...
I admit, it made me wonder...for about 10 seconds. After seeing Craig in the hospital and talking to him, I know that everything he said to and about me, how he loves me, how he wants to be with me, wasn't just something he said during one of his mood swings. Everything will be ok. I know it. I believe him. And the thing is

-- sorry, lost my train of thought. Just had to go check on my new horny aunt. Toby won't stop following her around. She goes to the airport tomorrow, thankfully...

Craig's last journal entry

It's all a giant blur to me tight now. A grainy, unfocussed photograph that keeps changing as I stare at it. Ash is running away from me, to a summer job her dad got for her in England. Even after we get a chance to do a song. For a movie. By Kevin Smith. The pudgy new Jersey guy who made Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back. And Chasing Amy, and Dogma, and some other stuff...Clerks and Mallrats I think? That guy. He's shooting a movie in our school. He liked the song me and Ash played at the rally...then Ash drops the bomb, she's still leaving. Gone, all summer, just like that. Right when something amazing could be happening. Good thing Kevin Smith is cool though...he wants me to keep working on the song. Now it's a solo project.
We'll see what happens. Hopefully Kevin will like my song. Maybe Ash will stay. Who knows? Feels like I don't have much control over anything...except the doses of my meds.

I'll keep you posted.

Well, hmmm....maybe we can make up a song about the AAs? Like song lyrics. Then maybe put some art around it.

That's good...yeah, we can do that...We can also post up poems and stuff...we can do what either the Locker Buddies or Pillow Pals do and write a round robin of Crash.

I think we totally should write song lyrics!

Re: promo. WTF? Did I miss something? Since when is Craig living on the street? Is this a new development because it's really kind of odd.

But, Craig/Ashley were so cute. I wish they had more scenes. I seriously hope they don't break up over her going to London.

Yeah...we did Craig live out on the streets? That's...odd...

Anyway, I just went to the-n.com, and they had this poll: What are you most excited about in the new episode (based on what's in the flipbook)? or something like that...and the choices were: Ashley and Craig!, Ashley/Craig/Manny!, Craig and the recording the single!, and Marco and the accordion! And I laughed in my head because I was thinking not much goes on with Ash/Craig/Manny in ND, right? So why make a huge deal of it? Oh, that's right...the-n's all up for BS.
