Winston gets big points for giving the bad guy a mayor's sash in the play. Haha. I'll give him that much. I can't see those two getting back together. Not after how they both hurt each other in such quick succession. Well, it probably didn't feel that way to them if they were real people living in teen time. But for us as a viewer that was too much. If we had a hiatus it might have helped lessen the dramatic impact.


For a moment I forgot that they wrap up filming so the kids can go back to their actual schools. Is it me and my weirdness or did they wrap sooner than usual?

Seeing that picture brings back memories of how we used to get actually useful tidbits of information on social media. Boy, has that changed in the last couple of years. :lol:

But, yeah, normally it is earlier and it's even earlier than the initial reports were indicating for this season in particular. Normally, I think they usually end up sometime around Halloween, although obviously there's been more episodes in recent years which both streamlined their filming and dragged things out a bit. The filming of Open Heart lead to break last year as well. The initial reports we saw this year had them going to October for filming, but that streamlining process they picked up in recent probably led to them finishing earlier. And now they can film Open Heart (if, and I suspect that's a big if) there's a second season.

They already wrapped? wow that was quick. I guess now they do less episodes so they aren't filming almost all year round now.

on another note I really hope they give Frankie some darker/angsty material next season. I like to see Frankie on a downward spiral for a few eps possibly. Despite all she has gone through she still seems naive about so much and I think the writers should continue to hit her with reality and give her heavy material.

Yeah, I still can't believe the way she gave the forgotten Jonas brother all that money. But, I like that she still seems very much like a kid. We don't always see that this much with that show, especially with characters who've been on for a few years so I hope that part of her sticks, at least for a while.

So what kind of darker issue do you think that she would have? I don't know if I can see drugs. But she did already have her first drink and she took that way over the top so I could be a marker in the Degrassi timeline I guess. What about a heavy consequence for sex? I think I'd like to see her as more of a wild child I guess. I know an eating disorder was speculated once. I think I can see that.

Yeah, the eating disorder seems like something they've already laid some groundwork for. Her wild child could be interesting. Miles has sort of taken that mantle in the family, but having her do that in her own unique way could be intriguing.

A Eating Disorder would be very interesting and yeah it be different then the wild child type angst that Miles already has brought to the table.

And although this show will probably never go that way (even though it could make the story line better), I think you could easily buy Frankie hiding something like that for an extended amount of time.

I've always suspected either Frankie or Zoe would go down the Eating Disorder route so it wouldn't surprise me. She doesn't seem particularly confident when it comes to her looks (i.e: asking her mom to get a boob job) and between being cheated on by Winston, used by Logan and then dumped by Winston for actions that were apparently worse than his cheating...

And that's not even taking into account her rocky relationship with her dad and how he was going to throw her under the bus for the whole Degrassi Nudes thing.

Like right now she's still the most well adjusted kid in the Hollingsworth family but it would be interesting to watch that fall apart and force Hunter and Miles to sort of step up in that regard.

This is so adorable! Right down to her bedroom walls and furniture.

So.."sexy dream." About Jonah. Yet that promo seemed to show more Jonah/Maya, so maybe the dream really doesn't lead to anything else. Other then a love yourself plot for our girl. In some ways I'm kind of most interested in what, or rather who was involved in whatever was going on at the end for her to block "I....love high school" and the others out of that room?

Yeah, I can see the younger girls crushing on Jonah. I can't see it going anywhere and that might be a good thing because I feel myself getting protective over Franks. I still don't know who I ship her with.

More Sara being Sara in the best way possible, her insistence that she was 3 during when TNG began. :lol:
