Fimogen (Fiona ♥ Imogen) - Because Fiona has a new crush this year...
 

It has confirmed, at least, that they will become good friends this season. It is also confirmed that Fiona will have a new crush this year (and there's a rumour that it's Imogen!), so let's cross our fingers!

Yay a Fimogen thread! I ship them so hard. I'd love to see a main character as a love interest for Fiona rather than bringing in some random character. There are so many characters in Degrassi that it is almost offensive that there can't be two main characters in a same-sex relationship. They haven't done it since Paige and Alex.

The promos look very promising. I just hope Degrassi decides to go there.

woo! I really like the idea of them for a lot of reasons but mostly because I'm really tired of one-dimensional gay couples. That's been bothering me for awhile and I think it's time we had another balanced lesbian relationship. I also think that these two could help each other bring out their respective strengths.

I really... really want this to happen.

1) Because I want Fiona to be with someone who's actually from Degrassi. I can't even begin to tell you how much I didn't give a **** about Charlie.

2) Because I want Fiona to be happy. I mean, she already fell for one best friend who didn't return her feelings. Can she at least have one who does?

3) Because I prefer lesbian/bisexual!Imogen over Imogeli. Okay, this one's a little petty, I know, but I just... don't like Imogen when she's with Eli. I've liked her interactions with everyone else, though.

:wave: Oh, man. I'd so rather have Imogen/Fiona than Imogeli. Any word on spoilers for these two?

PS has anyone seen Cristine in totally amp'd?

gotta admit i liked Folly J before. They are so good together too bad it's unreciprocated.
Right now All I want is for Fiona to find a great girl that will make her happy.

^ Hopefully something better than Imogen telling her there's already enough people in her group with a "clever" rhyme :look: Actually I guess if they are working on a group project together it would be slightly ironic.

Maybe they'll just pull a Craig and Ellie like "Wow, what a great summer we've spent together! I'm so glad we're best friends now!"

I'm betting that "Somebody pinch me" line from Imogen is her reaction to being invited to hang out with Fiona. Imogen's attitude in drama class towards Fiona wanting to join their group never really rubbed me the wrong way but it will be cute to see her admit that she does notice and respect her.

Can't wait to see Fiona's reaction when Imogen shows up at her door in a Cyndi Lauper type outfit.

There's a line in one of the promos where someone asks something like "So when do I finally get to meet this girlfriend?" and it looks like they're asking Fiona.

What if Fiona lies that Imogen is her girlfriend and then Imogen finally finds out etc.?
