I was totally surprised by how much I enjoyed these two together. I was expecting to hate it but I was sad to see them end by the time all was said and done.

I felt the same way! I had powerful feelings for Triles around Thunderstruck and they just faded away as these two developed. So it was heartbreaking all around for me. I lost two couples. I like to think that if we had another season that they would have happened again. Miles would have been at home at some point. Just kick him out of college and back home into bed with Lola.

Yeah, there was a real spark between these two that really helped drive their story line.

Buzzfeed had a recent interview with Linda and Stephen and their quotes about these were very interesting.

By the time [Miles and Lola] got together, we had lived a lifetime with both of their characters. If we had the opportunity to tell more stories, they certainly would have been a big part of it."

Stephen said that the chemistry between Miles and Lola, in the sense of both actors and characters, really captured the "vulnerability" the show was going for. "There's a scene where they're just walking down [the hallway] and sort of revealing things to each other," he recalled. "And it was just very open and very, very intimate."

I don't know if the idea of them hoping to do more with these two if they had the chance was in reference to them just hoping for more episodes in the season(s) they were together or if they were going to actually keep Miles around after he graduated, but the way they focused in on these two in particular is rather impressive.

I missed your post. I would have loved to see more of them. There was all this talk of a reboot or a movie but I want follow up with the Next Class (at least that is my mood atm).

Requested by anonymous: Miles and Lola run into each other years later and realize their feelings never left.

An interview with the actors that play Miles and Lola discussing that relationship in the media blitz for the 20th Anniversary of Mother and Child Reunion airing? Okay, can't say I saw that one coming, but, definitely no complaints.

I just love that Lola's first time is wearing her cute panda pajamas. She wasn't dressing up, sexy, or trying to impress a guy. She doesn't have to.
