Dalmar took over the Crawford CBC instagram today and introduced us to his character Devon.

crawfordseries 1. I once heard that waking up early is a characteristic of successful people. Well, most people on film sets usually do that everyday. Take a look at a Crawford grid of calltimes! “H/MU/W” stands for hair, make up & wardrobe. Each row specifies a different actor’s start time for changing into their character’s outfit and visiting the hair & make up department. The “SET” column states when the actor is required on set to begin shooting a scene! As you an see, someone had a 5:45am calltime on this day - and the amazing crew members across these departments and more ALL arrive even EARLIER to help prepare everything. Who knows how many alarms I’ve snoozed trying to compete for earliest wake ups?!

crawfordseries 4. Devon loves fashion particularly SUITS. He is strong believer in dressing for success. I don’t know about you, but I get a pep in my step whenever I’m wearing a nice suit. I strongly recommend it.

Dalmar got a nice shout out on Twitter from one of his former Degrassi costars.

And do follow the link in the original tweet to an article in the Toronto Star in which Dalmar the roles he has upcoming in three different projects. Oh and a brief little sidenote, one of these is based on the 1975 movie Three Days of the Condos, starring Robert Redford and Faye Dunaway. That movie is damn good, you should see it if you get a chance.

Oh hey, I'm not last in here. Cool. Cause I'm excited for Dalmar and I know I've seen love from his former Degrassi cast mates.

pbrancs @dalmarabuzeid is the kind of friend who will patiently recreate So You Think You Can Dance routines with you between takes even though he’s an excellent dancer and your weak ankles are dulling his shine. He is also a great actor and got nominated for an @actratoronto award this week for his beautiful work on @annetheseries.

I haven't watched Anne even though several people have recommended it. I should watch it just because my aunt thinks I would like it.

I gotta say this diverse cast and then this nomination has peaked my interest:

The Actra Award ceremony was last weekend and I'm guessing Dalmar didn't win, but he did attend and looked good doing so. There was also someone else there with him that may be recognizable.
