Hope all has had a wonderful weekend!!!

Got my eyes examined yesterday(Saturday). Last time was 1 1/2 years ago. My eyes changed a little and now have cataracts. Early onset. Well, after all I am 62. I have been in remission with my type two diabetes since October 2012!!! It is common to get cataracts early with diabetes. There is nothing to do for now..No surgery since I can see clearly with glasses and contacts!!!

I'll be away the next few days, as Tommy's family will be up from Texas. They come up every year for the 4th of July weekend. Tommy's birthday is on the 3rd, so we celebrate that and we celebrate the 4th, too.

Not as many people are gathering in large groups for BBQ/picnics or family reunions.

I had a good 4th of July. Tommy's family all came up from TX and stayed with us Thursday through Sunday. We went riding four wheelers and rangers up in the mountains north of us on Friday and stopped to swim in the creek. Saturday we took the four wheelers and rangers down to the sandy beaches on the river south of us and then came home and swam in my pool and shot fireworks. I like in a rural area, so we are allowed to shoot fireworks here.

My Mom and aunt have been in the hospital and tested + for COVID-19. My aunt had heart problems and was in ICU for a few days. She is in a regular room now and my mom was feeling good enough to return to the Senior Living place. When my aunt gets better, my cousin will take her mom home until the Senior living place is no longer in room lock down. My mom was use to assisting her sister everyday until someone, the first one was diagnosed with the virus. My mom is almost 98 and my aunt is 94.
May 1st we cancelled our family reunion because of the virus. Good thing we did because it would have been tomorrow with approx 85-100 attending.
Would appreciate prayers and good wishes for those of you who don't pray...Thank you.
