Karen when the cedar trees bloom here, I always get sick. Apparently I'm allergic to the little pollen balls they produce. And we have our yard lined with cedar

I believe it....Birch and Alder is really bad for me...Cedar is too but not as much in our neighborhood. Scotch broom is super bad and is on almost every on and off ramp to I-5 our main Highway. Not good for us with allergies!!!

I've never heard of scotch broom. I googled it. It's a weed, looks like. Weeds can be so bad.

Exactly....and the people who planted it originally planted it said that people are not allergic to them....then when they or family members became allergic and reacting to it they admitted people can be allergic.....did they begin removing it...NO. Jerks.....Very frustrating.....Just like all the beautiful cedar trees at your place....amazing how balls of pollen can be so damaging to our immune system!!!

Yes. I do love the cedar trees at my place, so we haven't cut them down. Plus we have a whole row of them planter out by the road to serve as a break for the dust in the summer. We live on a dirt road and when it gets very dry, the cedar trees help cut down on the dust. The portions of our yard that don't have cedars blocking the road, you can watch a wall of dust slowly move across the yard when cars drive down the road in the hottest part of summer.

Hi Carol As usual, had a wonderful physical therapy session, Friday, and finished it with a hot pack around my neck and on my whole back. The timer was set for 15 minutes outside the room. I fell asleep. Woke up and before I opened my eyes didn't know for sure where I was....wondered if I had changed my bed location like I have planned to do for a while. When I opened my eyes I saw I was at PT on my side!!! I was just beginning to sit up and my therapist apologized and said she got busy with her next client and missed hearing the timer. When I got outside to the car, my husband was asleep with his mouth open!!! If it was warm, and the window was open, he could have caught flies!!!

I’m good, I was sick in January and December but feeling more like a human again this month and spring break from work is in two weeks. moved to my own apartment and taking care of my cat, etc, just normal living!
