Me to tonka17 . You could tell from their first meeting it was true love!
I still haven't watched all of s5. I somehow can't seem to get though it because I don't want Alias ending. I hate that I got into this show late . |

The ending freaks me out at the end of s4. I remember when I first watched it...I was like OMG for like 20 minutes or even longer . Totally shocking. And isn't 5x01 more shocking and heartbreaking to? I swear my heart had never broke so much before 5x01 in Alias.

I had no idea it was coming the first time i watched the season 4 cliffhanger. And I don't care how many times I watch it, it will still shock the daylights out of me. As it did, yet again, the other day. I put the season 5 dvd's in to watch, but i started with the last one. Season 5 saddens me so much because only part of it was with Vaughn. I don't know who was thinking what at that point, but it was soo soo dumb. I know there are a couple of epis I missed before he came back, and I think that's it when it comes to unseen Alias epis. Oh well, I'll suck it up at some point and watch them all, but I will probably need a Kleenex box by my side.

The parts in s5 without Vaughn is so sad. IMO Alias really lacked without Vaughn. I'm really glad they decided to bring him back . Watching the episodes without Vaughn was so hard but I sticked with them because I knew he was coming back, even through I wanted to skip until Vaughn came back and imo Alias in s5 really started picking up from (I see dead People-5x13 I think :look when Vaughn came back:.)
and the s4 cliffhanger still shocks me to. Like all the cliffhanger does. (S2 one was curel through don't you think? ) |

S2 was beyond evil. And it was back in the age of spoiler-freedom (at least for me), so I had no clue it was coming. I was beyond devastated.

S2 was rediculous. I remember sitting there going no they can't do that can they? But it was so unexpected and so well played out!

I didn't know what's was about to happen at the end of s2 either. (I was a late comer) So glad I wasn't spoiled but the end of s3...Vaughn rushing out of hospital to warm Sydney and all their moments in s3 makes up for that imo . I didn't like s3 when I first watched it but when I rewatched...I changed my mind and realized that s3 was good for Vaughn and Syd/Vaughn .
Glamour_pixie: I had the same reaction, well I had to hide my reaction abit because I was watching it with my mum but I was screaming (in my head) |

I agree about S3. I so didn't want it to happen, and it was rough to follow the way ABC kept breaking it up. I did a S3 marathon though once the DVD came out, and it made a lot more sense. I still didn't like it, but it was much better to see them together then in the mishmash ABC showed them.

What did ABC do? Sorry...I didn't watch Alias back when it first aired and I don't live in the states either .

During S3, ABC had a lot of hiatuses (really long ones) for the show, and they also wanted stand alone episodes, so it's almost like there was no continuous storyline throughout the entire season.
For me, no cliffhanger will ever suck so much as the one for S2. I couldn't sleep after it aired because I was so upset. The first thing I spotted was Vaughn's wedding ring in the scene, and I was so pissed off. S/V had FINALLY gotten it together and were happy and in love, and then they just ripped it all away from us. So horrible. S/V really did make the show. I mean Alias was fantastic as a whole, but the show seriously lacked when they weren't together and when they wrote Vaughn off for a while. I couldn't stand Lauren, so S3 annoyed me for obvious reasons until the end, and S5 was really hard to stomach with no Vaughn. As a S/V shipper, that was really hard. __________________
