I was very surprised to see the news yesterday! (And Adam's baby news too yesterday!) Exciting times!

I am sure Ben's Mom is thrilled. So much news about this when Ben is normally so private. I was thinking about his Q & A appearance last night in NYC and was thinking this would be interesting now with all of the news. Anyone attend or feedback from it?

I hope people don't make this too seedy. They just announced they are a couple and now pregnant. Some comments I read haven't been too favourable, We know they have been together for longer but for most people this came out of nowhere.

I am happy for them both and this is going to be one gorgeous child!!

Isn't life crazy? She had a short stint on The OC where they had no scenes together but some years later fate brings them together again!

And Ben posted that "looking for a girlfriend" post on his instagram last year, around the time Season 1 was staring.

Well he got his wish, and more.

I will have to double check that OC episode where Morena appeared ( it was a total of 3 episodes I think) just to make sure she didn't share any scenes with Ben.

Just some minor tidbits. The husband filed on June 12.

On or around June 12, Ben was on his way back from Japan. He left ahead of the other Gotham cast.

Also, if you look at her pictures, she is no longer wearing what looks like her wedding ring in the May pictures. But prior to that , you can see her with it. I don't know how significant that is.

The irony is that just a few weeks ago, or around Comic Con, we were wondering on this board why the other news outlets weren't picking up on this story. This had been unfolding over the course of several months.
Be careful what you wish for I guess.

Hope Ben is getting some clear headed advice. And perhaps investing in some damage control PR.

Ben is such a private person and now he is in all of the news. I hope he is getting some guidance as well through all of this.

I don't think they had any scenes together on The OC. I think Ben didn't even remember her being on the show then. Funny how a few years later things certainly have changed.

"Gotham" star Morena Baccarin -- who is pregnant with co-star Ben McKenzie's baby -- plans to marry him ... TMZ has learned.

Baccarin is in the middle of a nasty divorce with director Austin Chick. According to legal docs obtained by TMZ, Baccarin says she got pregnant with Ben's baby in June, which she claims was after she separated with Chick. The estranged husband begs to differ and says she got pregnant while they were still together.

Chick filed for divorce, and Morena has already planned her next move. In her legal docs, obtained by TMZ, she says, "Today, I am in a new committed relationship. I am planning to re-marry. Also, I am 3 1/2 months pregnant."

Morena's divorce is bitter. As we reported, Chick says he came to their house in June, only to find Ben freshly showered and playing with their 1-year-old son.

And Morena included texts in her docs to show how bad the situation is ... she texted to Chick, "I'd like to be there alone with Julius [their son]. Please Friday all day and night through Sunday morning."

He responded, "I'd like to run Fox Studios and remake The Sound of Music w an entirely black cast of hip hop artist."

She tells the judge, "This entire situation is not funny to me."
