Saw this video, it's the "angst"-Files! Sometimes with the edits, it makes it seem like this show was like a soap opera type, not a mystery, alien conspiracy, monster of the week creepy show!

So today is the anniversary of the "end" of the X-Files (so they thought). The last scene of Mulder and Scully in bed, facing an uncertain future, but facing it together was the last we saw until last year.
The music in the final scene is awesome and beautiful, especially how they incorporated the main notes of the theme except it sounds touching and pretty instead of scary! So if you need a brief musical interlude, try not to well up a bit listening to the exit music of a great series __________________

I agree with Gillian about the show being filmed with high production values like a mini movie, back when tv wasn't typically filmed "cinematically". And David still loves the dancing with Scully scene we all know.  |
