I've taken the huge trashcan to the street. It has 2 wheels, but damn, that thing was HEAVY, plus going uphill. Now I'm dizzy, and my sugar is low, so I'm going to eat something before taking the recycling up. 2 bags on my walker, that should be fun.

I got all my cleaning done. I also swept up the last of the leaves out the front. I also popped in the supermarket for a few items and it was mad in there! I hate shopping close to Christmas!

I helped my son, and we're all ready to do more of his project tomorrow.

We just got back from seeing Aquaman, much better film from DC than the previous ones I think.

I did manage to get one prescription filled said it was too soon to fill the new med so I have to call it in on Dec. 29 to pick up!

Got some little items and my dad’s gift so I should be good til after Christmas for things. a bit of a lot of people in that drug store than usual

Aquaman is played by Jason Momoa. I know him more from Stargate Atlantis, but he looks good in this film, for sure!

It’s the second day on 10mg and so far, I’m just sleeping well and maybe feel a little lightheaded in the day (but that might be cause no coffee yet) but no real sick to my stomach or gut problems so that’s good! I must have got faked out by real illness that week.

The time I get to relax will be after moving the tables back out of the living room tomorrow afternoon. Only then will I get to enjoy Christmas Day! The cooking on Boxing Day shouldn't be too taxing as we eat in the evening, and it will be just 6 of us that day.

I have to say that keeping busy stops me from worrying too much! So it's not all bad.

Are you at your mother's place tomorrow?

I'm getting the spare bedroom prepared today, and doing a little more cleaning.

I got busy cleaning, and was taking care of Mom. Went to bed early, got woken up by a sweet dream about a guy from Chicago Fire, and then couldn't go back to sleep after I got up for a while.

Leanne, I really hope, so much, that the medicine wasn't the problem.

Glad you got everything done, and everything you need till the end of the week.

Claire, I hope the moving the tables back part happens faster than you feel like, and you get to chill. Are your kids excited? Are you excited about them opening their gifts?

I wish Aquaman would come here. It's number 1 in the US, plus, since Sunny posted his picture on the Crush thread, I have wanted to see it. It sounds like you really liked it.

I don't know-a couple of the hair metal bands of the 80's, they had most of their upper bodies covered in tattoos. Aquaman looks much sexier with those though.

Don't know if we're having Christmas tonight, if we'll just exchange gifts and open them in our own rooms. I know Kev didn't get me anything, but I want to see him open his. I'll hobble down to the basement if I have to. I don't know if we'll have a meal, but I doubt it, cause it's too hard for Mom being up and around.

My parents are here now. We've heaped up the presents under the tree. There's a big pile there for us to open in the morning!

After we've opening them we'll move the furniture for dinner early afternoon, and after dinner's done I get to relax!

I hope your Christmas goes well, Kim. Even though you all have health issues right now.

Happy Christmas Eve!

It’s quiet here cause the kids are with my brother for Christmas Eve day. I’ll see them tonight at the fishpond event. Before that I have family dinner at parents probably with my two brothers. My sister is in England and my other brothers wife likes to do their own thing.

So far, I happy that I have no last minute things to do before leaving so I’m just chilling, getting some fresh air with windows open. Made some coffee, about to have some favorite instant rice noodle soup.

Kim, you sound busy now with watching your mom and I hope you can safety go downstairs to see Kevin and give him his gifts! Nice you had a hot dream maybe you guys can order pizza if your mom isn’t well enough to cook?

I'm watching Star Trek. I knew mum and dad won't object to that. My husband has already had an argument with my parents and left the room though, which doesn't bode well.

good idea Claire! So you have Christmas dinner on Christmas? We usually have the big dinner on Christmas Eve, cause Christmas Day is a total lazy day of no work and lounging with new gifts

Yes, Leanne the tradition here is to open presents Christmas morning and have a big roast dinner Christmas Day.

We have a starter or prawns or melon and then a large roast dinner with yorkshire puddings and pigs in blankets (cocktail sausages wrapped in bacon) and other good things.

We have many desserts but we always leave those until the early evening.

My parents don't know when to let a subject drop.

I always love the present opening. Although I don't think there are any surprises for me particularly. But presents look so nice when they are all wrapped up!
