Hope you got your stuff done, Claire! It’s freezing here. I can fee, the cold air on my legs laying in bed here and have my gas fireplace on high. And my car is so frosted over in the morn8ng.

I stayed home today and booked off tomorrow but I might suck it up and cancel the absence tomorrow and just go. I don’t feel sick but I’m feeling myself out for dizziness.

My cat is really enjoying and wanting my company today!

My daughter was sent home from school feeling sick and dizzy. Unfortunately I was in a fairly distant town at the time, and had just paid for parking! Fortunately my husband agreed to go collect her for me.

I didn't take too long in the shops and got nearly everything I needed. I have a few more things to get online, and then will be done. It's been so long since I'd last been there, one shop I was looking for had moved, and I didn't know where it was! I eventually found it, but I'd got everything by then.

It's fairly warm here right now, I felt really hot when driving home.

I had to go out locally this afternoon too, to get ingredients for my daughter to use in her cooking class tomorrow.

I’m watching the season finale of The Good Doctor and it’s a good episode, gonna end on a cliffhanger where there is a virus out of control and everyone is locked down and the show doesn’t come back on til January 14th!

I think I can go to work tomorrow, I pretty much feel good compared to yesterday so maybe it was just from the first time full dose.

If it wasn’t sunny here, if it was rainy weather with this arctic temperature, it would be snowing right now so I’m glad it’s sunny even if that means the mornings are frosty cold

Yum, I remember those! my mom is making a Christmas pudding this year. She made it and now it has to age til Christmas. Should be interesting how that turns out. She got the recipe from my uncle who is from England.

Well hopefully things are green again cause it was looking ugly over the summer with the yellow grass everywhere! I take rain over heat in sun anytime

Now I’m watching Dr. Phil about a lady who has 15 cats and is obsessed with them over her marriage, silly daytime TV!

I kind of get restless legs in the evening now, but not during actual sleeping so that’s strange now.

This time, I think you are warmer than we are. Stay wrapped up, and wear lots of layers.

So, not only are we getting snow-but they're predicting 8-12 inches. It wouldn't be a problem if they cleared the roads, but it'll be at least a week before we get out of here. Even when they start to plow our neighborhood (middle of next week), Life in the South. Oh well, it'll be pretty to see, at first.

We've been getting outside the house ready-wrapping up hoses, covering faucets out there, bringing my brother's grill in. All that kinds of stuff. I am going back out to the store this afternoon. It'll probably be sold out of most stuff, but I mostly want to be sure I don't run out of my Diet Coke/caffeine. Gotta get my Christmas cards out today, because we won't get mail delivery or pick up for a week, maybe longer.

Needless to say, I'm cranky. So cranky. Just ugh... Guess I can hope they're predicting more than we actually get.

Oh, and we're having a $20 Christmas, which I am not prepared for, and don't have money for. I hate that she waited till the last minute.

Well, change of plans, I tried to cancel my absence today yesterday but it said I can’t cancel it after 2:30 pm even tho it was for the next day! but then this morning, my stomach feels slightly nauseous so I’m home anyway. Apparently, this is annoying cause one day I’m dizzy, the next feeling normal again, then the next, nauseous! I really hope it stops for next week with this! I felt a moment yesterday of feeling clear minded so I hope that’s a good sign to come.

So my plan is to sleep, rest, stay under the covers cause it’s out there!

I hope you get your Diet Coke, that’s important! And everything you need to be snowed in for a week.

Yeah that’s annoying she waits til the last minute to let you know you need to spare some money and also go out at this point cause of your budget and the snow on the roads problem! But it will be nice to have a Christmas especially after last years Christmas event.

I feel hope it gets better not worse.

Thanks Kim. I think she's on the mend. She had another day at home today. I feel like I've got a bit of cold too, I seem to feel like that a lot this winter!

I'm getting there. I didn't wrap anything today, but I really need to wrap some things...

That amount of snow is scary, I hope it isn't too bad. I'm glad you're all prepared for it.
I assume you mean you have to pay $20 for your part of Christmas, some notice would be nice for sure.

She must have really enjoyed the Christmas pudding then, Leanne! It does seem to be one of those things you either love or hate. I love 'em but I know plenty of people who don't like it.

I like it, but I also like fruitcake which a lot of people claim to hate too I do eat in it in little bites though. And there won’t be any rum or brandy or whatever since my family is anti-alcohol, even in cooking or baking!

Yeah, I’m just in bed so far today, watching tv under warm covers so far. Although I do need to be upright eventually.

Hope your daughter is ok after resting for two days. And o hope your cold doesn’t develop worse

You can use juice instead of alcohol. My mum used to pour brandy on her portion (additional to what was in it) every year, and wouldn't set light to it, because she loves her alcohol! I'm a sad disappointment to my parents because I don't drink!

She's a lot more bouncy right now, so I think she'll be okay!

Once a co-worker gave me some rum balls and now I’m sad cause no one I know makes them cause no alcohol and those were pretty tasty

I think it adds flavour to food as long as it’s burned off for drunkenness

According to my scale, I’ve lost about 5 pounds this week, although that could be finicky and could go up if I eat any substantial meal but I’m sure once things stabilize I’ll gain it back and have more of an appetite again

I hope you enjoy your course tomorrow

I feel like sleeping a lot. I’m dreading my work email cause I’m not sure how thrilled my co-worker is about my no-show when I had work I was in the middle of doing.

Windy and rainy again today. We are going to coffee though. One of the phone networks here has been attacked and has gone down, so we used WhatsApp to communicate, and that seems better than texting to me!

Snow will be here tomorrow, rather than starting Sunday. Hopefully the storm is moving faster, and will not dump as much snow. Meanwhile, it's here.

Oh I see! I thought your mum was charging you for Christmas dinner or something. I say get her some sort of general gift item, does she like jewellery, chocolate or ornaments?

Yeah fruit cake you either love or hate. I think I'm the only one who loves Christmas cake as much as I do. It's very rich and covered in marzipan and icing. I only bought a slice last year just for me, but as we have loads of guests I got a whole cake this year, but I probably shouldn't have...
