The noodles are boiled in hot water for 3 minutes. Then you add the packet of flavoring into the pot, and let it sit for one minute.

I drain the extra water out, but it's definitely not soup-though I guess it could be.

Yeah that’s how you make it in soup form, don’t drain the water.

This is my dumb confession, in my family since I was a preschooler, ramen noodles in soup was called “wiggly soup” and we all grew up calling it that until I was around 21 and chatting online and other people would mention ramen and I’m like what’s that? it was wiggly soup. But wiggly soup does sound more fun than ramen soup, no?

Wiggly soup sounds way better. I love that.

I also sometimes cook the noodles only, drain them, and add milk and cheese, to make easy macaroni and cheese. YUM.

Yum, I’ve never tried that before with ramen noodles. Now I’m curious, even tho I have the blue kraft dinner mac and cheese anyway.

I still need to buy a pot for my induction cooktop to make it, plus get some milk and and butter

I think I’ll have some stew beef soup I bought for dinner and then some chips and spinach dip.

I hope you like your stew.

I'm IN for the chips and spinach dip!

Yeah, you'd definitely need a pot to cook in.

What are you doing for the evening? It's already almost my bedtime. At least PT won't be here till after my grocery shopping trip tomorrow, rather than before.

That’s good they will show up after. Hope you get the stuff you want or need without forgetting anything! Remember bread this time?

Yeah I want chips now but I’ll be self disciplined need to eat soon though

I just plan to browse online and read the “Soothe” book since it’s due next week, I’m feeling a twinge of so I’m hoping that stays under control as my quiet night goes later., not sure what’s on tv.

My cat is a bit hyper now, running around!

I definitely won't be forgetting bread this time, but even with a list, I know I'll forget something.

I'm eating some cheddar Pringle's. This pack has a lot of flavor on it.

Definitely read your book. Maybe that'll keep you busy. I hope the sadness stays away.

I'm going to sleep to HGTV tonight I guess.

Aw, he's thrilled to see you. : He's showing off for you.

Okay, I'm heading to bed now, or at least trying. I will see you tomorrow. Try and stay happy. I will answer your email (the rest of it that I didn't answer earlier today-by the way,)

Hugs and love, and sweet dreams.

I'm in tears this morning. I woke up so many times during the night in terrible pain. I couldn't lie on my side at all, and was awake a lot despite taking painkillers. My friend who had this happen to her thinks I'm doing too much, and I may be ripping the muscle again by walking around, so enforced rest it is.

Anyway on to more positive things: all of our cats were got from a charity. the most recent two we got as they were used to children. The first two we were easy to pick, they were black and only being homed as a pair. They'd been there for a long time because of that, but they were so affectionate. They got on our laps, and I couldn't wait to take them home. We had to wait because the RSPCA insist on a home check. The second two we got from RAIN (Rescued Animals In Need) we saw an advertisement for them in the paper and they sounded perfect for us.

I still miss our male tabby cat, Pepper who disappeared one autumn just as the nights were drawing in. Still that was years ago now, and Ebony seems happier without him.

I've heard of the cat cafe in London, Theresa, but I've not been there.

Aww, Claire, I wish there was something you could take that would make the pain just go away while it heals (which sounds like it's not) quite an unpleasant ordeal for you and interrupting your sleep. I guess you really have to not move? But I would think moving would help a bit but what so I know.

I'd be upset if a cat of mine disappeared outside and never came back. I remember your roommates cat disappears for while in the summer! Glad he or she came back.

I'm about to go to bed myself now, probably stayed up too late.

Be gentle with yourself, Claire.

Oh and I know you're sleeping Kim, but I wanted to say I hope you're dreams were good and thank you.

Claire. I'm really sorry to hear that. I'm sending you lots of hugs and comfort. I wish I was close, to be able to help, or at least to keep you company.

Have you thought about seeing a Dr. for crutches? It sounds like that would be the only way to get around with walking on it.

Your cats sound so great! I have always believed we know which our pets are meant to be once we see them. I'm glad you were able to take the pair in.

We don't have pet cafe's here. You have to fill out an application and report, but here at least, they never checked anything. In Virginia, you had to fill out the application, and if they weren't spayed you had to pay a fee, which they refunded to you once they were. I've always only had girl pets. My brother's dog was a boy though.

Leanne, I hope you slept well yourself.

I'm going to have to see my Dr. about my sugar going so low at night. I don't know why it only happens when I'm asleep, but, I can't keep my sugar balanced.

I'm starting to think crutches would be a good idea. I struggled upstairs with my walking stick to get dressed. My husband should be here most of the day, because of the snow this morning. However, he's working away from home for a week from tomorrow. It's not ideal timing for me.

Still I'm sitting here playing computer games and watching TV. I'm just going to have to rest.

I was so glad her cat came back, Leanne.

That sounds like a good idea, Kim. It sounds like your insulin is a little high.

Thanks both of you for the good well wishes.

Crutches were the only way I could think of to keep the strain off your muscle. I just want you healed and not in pain.

Good for you for resting. That's the smartest thing to do I think.

It's foggy, and has been pouring all morning. Crappy to go out and shop in, with having my groceries, and having to be so slow getting in and out of the transport. Bleh. But, I guess I'll dry.

We've asked around the family, and we may know someone who has crutches, so that should help.

We actually had some snow this morning. It's all melted now, though.

I've just just worked out how to switch off auto correct on this tablet. It changes things so bizarrely to make no sense of what I've written! I tried to work with it, but it's just too annoying.

Bouncing on my ball for exercise now. It's so boring sitting still all day though.

Hope your trip goes well, even if it is a bit wet.

Doing grocery and shopping runs when its pouring rain is pretty unfavorable!! I don't like carrying umbrellas with I have bags to carry. Funny I don't like it but yet, I live in Vancouver area where its known for rain so I should be used to it! Nope, I still like rain, but only when I'm indoors!!

Hope you can get ahold of some crutches to get around, yet keep your leg a bit stable, Claire!

I felt emotional before bed and driving to work but I'm feeling good now cause I'm at work, a good place for me to be!

Going to the condo after work for some soup and quiet and also a new X-Files tonight but its a Skinner episode and he doesn't really interest me as a character that much!

A friend has found a crutch, so I can have it tomorrow.
It's so annoying I've hurt myself more though, or maybe this is just the way this kind of thing goes. I've been sitting with my feet up all day, so I've definitely been taking it easy.

I never use umbrellas, they seem too much hassle most of the time. The only time I've really used them was standing at the school in the rain, waiting for the kids to come out.

Hope you have a good time at the condo, Leanne.
