I didn't see season 8 until the DVD box set came out. I really like Doggett. He really is more rugged than the other characters on the show. It's new but not awkward in such a way that he seems out of place. Before I saw season 8, I didn't think I would like him, but he managed to change my opinion.

I must say I was a little skeptical when I heard there was going to be a new male lead cast after season 7 but "Within" aired and in walked Robert Patrick as John Doggett and it didn't take very long for me to like him...ALOT! [img]smilies/biggrin.gif[/img]

I just can't help it. Every single time I see Robert Patrick, be it on the X-Files or any other project he is doing, I always see him as the Terminator. Whenever I see him in the X-Files running after a car I keep saying, "Come on Terminator. Do your terminator run and grab the car."

Hi there, I know this is a bit of a bragging post but I'm very excited. Robert Patrick has just signed up for a convention I'm going to at the end of the month, there's opportunities for autographs, to meet the man and to have your photo taken with him. Still very excited, he was a very sexy addition to the X Files.
