Interesting trivia: the echoing duh na na na was actually an accident. They were making the theme and Mark Snow had his hand down in the keyboard and accidentally pressed random keys and it made the sound echo

The best things sometimes were just happy accidents! :lol: I still remember on Friday nights hearing the creepy opening theme, looking forward to what spookiness would be in store for me after those opening credits! :nod:

It’s one of the best opening theme songs for sure, absolutely iconic :)

It sucks that so many theme songs are generic and boring. How many show themes are as iconic as this one?
