I’m not sure what the majority thinks about the episode but I really liked it. It was interesting to see Scully become so unnerved by that guy in the church, she got tears. Also, the fact he revealed Scully was already in love! but it’s such a creepy thing having some stalker obsessed guy writing what amounts to erotic fanfiction about you. Blech!

This is all aside from the whole tearing your heart out your chest too

Also, I thought Scully was unusually to go into his apartment and bedroom alone.

I liked it too, but it does seem to be an episode that is either loved or hated, I know some fans really didn’t feel like Scully was written in character.

I mostly liked it for the M/S shipper moments I’ll admit That hug But I did think that it was beautifully written and directed also

Well, I didn’t think Scully would have gone into a creepy man’s apartment bedroom like that, especially after the Donny Phaster abduction!

But yeah love the hug at the end even tho it was sad.

I didn't necessarily think that it was out of character... it just felt like a side of her that they usually didn't give us access to.

Also even though she experienced scary stuff I always enjoyed seeing that she could hold her own... she's a tough cookie
