Yeah I’m not really into a lot of it either, especially with so many blockbuster films lately seeming to revolve around the same thing, it gets a little one note.
I do like Daredevil and The Boys though, so I guess that I like the grittier and more realistic takes on comics __________________

I guess he is recurring as the psychiatric director in AHS 1984.
When I was watching, I started wondering if he’s ever not been playing a figure of authority in his roles at all. __________________

He does always seem to play similar roles. Honestly it reminds me of when David and Mitch were asked at a q&a if they brought the same traits to each character, Mitch said yes absolutely, and right after that David said that that would make him a bad actor if he did that, and when Mitch jokingly asked if he was calling him a bad actor David said that he hadn’t really been listening to Mitch’s response
Honestly though I agree with David, love what Mitch brings to his roles, but I do think that the best actors have range and really lose themselves in each part, whereas you are kind of always thinking look there’s Skinner when you see Mitch. Can’t really say the same about David’s role in Twin Peaks, or Gillian’s role in say Sex Education or Hannibal __________________

poor Mitch, talking and DD isn’t listening at all! Yeah, he’s been pretty stable in his acting roles. It’s kind of amazing how varied DD and GA have been since the show though, especially GA, sometimes im watching her and think “she’s Scully??” __________________
