Honestly I never really liked or hated him, he was kind of just there for me

His episodes were always so boring to me because I just didn’t care about his character that much

yeah, I have to admit, I wasn't into Skinner-centric episodes either.

The whole heart of show was just Mulder and Scully on the case.

Yeah whenever there was an episode focused on a character other than M/S, it often felt like it was just there to give David and Gillian a week off
