In situations like that I always feel sorry for the kids. They have to read all that stuff about their parents.

So I saw a cd audiobook of GA's book "Visions of Fire" at the library so I thought I would give it a listen while commuting to work. She narrates it and at first, she was talking the way Scully and Stella speak, all monotone, whispery, and I thought if she narrates the whole book like this, I could fall asleep at the wheel, haha.

But after the prologue, her voice perked up better and she actually has a younger "voice" for a teenage girl in a different accent other then her normal ones, and I can tell each character now as different, so maybe I'll be able to follow this after all, so far, it's intriguing....

I'm not used that much to her original voice but give it a try! I liked it and I think I'll start the 2nd part after I finished that really long Stephen King book I read actually

This CD is 8 CDs so I don't know if I will finish it before it's due back to the library.

GA is pretty good at narrating after all, I assumed she would narrate like she speaks for Stella and Scully, but she's doing the different characters with different pitch and accents so I can tell them apart so that's good when it comes to listening to a fictional story.

Film Project called UFO

Also that picture, while she still looks good (lovely leather jacket), you can see that age is starting to catch up with her

Not sure why your so obsessed with aging. Everyone does, so And she even looks better than most normal. I'm sure glad these days, we all don't look as old as say Edith Bunker from "All in the Family". I'm sure she was early 40s when that show started but back then, she wore ugly clothes and short hair like ladies above 70 usually get. Archie and Edith looked older than their number age. Nowadays, everyone looks young for their ages and that's a good thing. We can wear what we want and wear our hair long as we want to!

No one dictates how we have to look, wear or act because of a number.

That's a great pic of Gillian And I agree about age, she's in her 40's and isn't going to look 25 forever, but who cares. If anything I've seen a lot of comments on Gillian looking hotter today then she ever did in the early seasons of the X-Files when she actually was still in her mid 20's!

It's not about how old, how thin or how rich someone is, it's about what a person represents. I'm in my thirties now and when I compare GA now with her 25 year old younger self then she represents now much more to me than before.
Whoever wrote that post below just tried to povoke that's all. You can see that because he\or she never answered one of your posts.

That's why I change subject now: On GA twitter page there is a link to an interview of the make up artist of "The Fall". She explains Stella Gibsons make up there. Wow, they used lots of stuff and only expensive labels

I'll have to look that article up. I wonder if I've seen GA ever without makeup? I remember she looked very casual on the day she did the live Q&A on Facebook. (The funniest thing about that session was she was finding the live chat responses and emoticons flying across her screen to easily distract her from scanning through the pre-sent questions haha)

So I didn't know Benedict Cumberbatch photobombed Gillian, but apparently,

I just saw the first trailer of "American Gods". GA was not yet seen, but the series seems really cool. You can see it on youtube.

I haven't seen the trailer yet but I'm still not sure what station I'll be able to see it on when it does come out!

Does it have a release date?

I never knew they reunited on a different show! That's interesting! It makes it feel like Melissa never died when you see that. What show was that?
