DRippers is the 'shipper name of the DRR shippers.

Mulder/Scully are Shippers (and they are the couple who were first named "shippers")

Scully/Skinner are Sippers

Doggett/Scully are Dippers

Reyes/Follmer are MoFos ;)

And that's all I can remember.

Why "Shippers" anyway? How did people come up with that? Is that because of relationSHIP, or spaceSHIP or something like that? :D

It's because of relationSHIP. The online fans who wanted Mulder and Scully to be in a romantic relationship at first called themselves relationshippers, but that was a bit lengthy, so it was shortened to 'shippers. :)

Anyway, thanks for the explanation :) And you know....I like Scully and Dogget, I don't ship them, but I like their scenes, I was just watching Within, and wow I love it when she throws that water on his face and leaves, I love angry Scully :sigh:

I like them too in a platonic fashion. :) Heck, I just like Doggett. He and Scully would never work as a couple IMO because they're too similar in the wrong areas (and she belongs to Mulder and him to Reyes), but their dynamic is interesting. :nod:

Normally, I would have found the angry-Scully water-in-the-face moment childish, but in that scene, it just felt right! :D Scully let him know who was in charge! :rant:
