Possible Board Closure Discussion: Please Read and Respond!
 

Jenna will not be carrying on as a mod of this board after February and I don't feel able to continue to mod this board on my own. It's been a struggle to keep up the post count and we have very few regular posters. As you know, Fan Forum requires that we average at least 15 posts per day, with lower numbers than that leading to warnings and then possible closure of the board. We would prefer to go out under our own terms rather than be forced to close due to low post counts.

Please let us know what you think. We'd be glad to hear any suggestions or advice to renew interest. Remember that to keep the board going, we need the commitment of a few regular, dedicated posters. As much as we love this board, please don't just post to "save" the board and then disappear again, because we'll be in the same position that we're in now if you do.

I will be carrying on as a mod unless it is decided that we should close. :)

I definitely agree that it would be best to go out on our own terms rather than be closed down, but if the board stays, then I'll be here posting :)

FF is definitely more geared towards current TV shows and it's hard to keep up the momentum when the show's off the air, there's little or no new stuff, and a lot of fans have moved on to other shows/ships/characters.

Having been a mod on a board that was very slow ,I agree how hard it is to maintain the average 15 posts a day . Sad that this was once one of the most popular boards on :ff:

If there is any response to the moderator opening there is still a chance of continuing. We will have to wait and see.

Wow, sorry I haven't been around guys! I loved modding this board and I've had some amazing memories on here! I started posting on here the end of S4 ... I miss those days so much :bawl:
