Lost Fanfiction/Poetry/Music
 

Since there wasn't a thread for this I thought I'd start one.
Feel free to post links to your fanfiction or poetry here. (in keeping with board rules, of course)

Here are several fics I wrote. They're kind of a trilogy but you can still understand and enjoy the individual stories if you don't read all three.

Reunion

Category- Drama, adventure, possibly AU (for the fact that Kelvin is alive)
Rating- PG
Spoilers- mild spoilers for "Further instructions". If you don't want to know Desmond's fate don't read any further. If you've seen the first part of season three there's nothing you don't already know.
Warnings: Nothing that I can think of
Disclaimer- All Lost characters are the property of ABC and their creators. I derive no profit from this and no copyright infringement is intended.
Quickie summary: Desmond has a surprising encounter in the jungle.

Well actually the board rules is that you can't post fanfic in a post. There was a Fanfiction board but I think it got shut down. The best you can do here is post links to fics.

In accordance with the official rules however, we can have a fic thread if there's enough desire for it. I'm not sure if there was one before the crash or not.

I think we'll keep this open since no previous fan fic thread exists.

I'll change the first post and just put the link to the first story. (I thought posting stories was allowed. Sorry about the mix-up)

I'm not sure what the rule is about poetry posting but here are a couple of poems I wrote inspired by ths week's episode. They're from the point of view of Desmond. (the second one is what I imagine him saying to Penny )

Lost in time

In the blink of an eye
my life changed
everything I knew
everything I was
gone
I was with my love again
was it real
or a trick of the mind
life flashes before my eyes
mine and others
why am I given this knowledge?
Is it true that once the course is set it can't be altered?
all I ever wanted
was to settle down with my beloved
Is that too much to ask?
In a flash I returned
sadder but wiser
I know my place in the grand scheme of life
I have a purpose
for once in my life
I am not a coward
or a failure
are we heading for the abyss?
I pray it's not too late.

why I must say goodbye
when all I ever wanted
was to spend my life with you

how much this pains me
