I though it was okay. I'm not usually a fan of film that has different storyline going on but I liked Kay's storyline, and a few others.

All the storyline revolve around students trying to get into the prestigious performing arts school
so it shows each of their struggles and some of them cross paths because they are in the same class.__________________

Lucy and I are fans of Fame so yes, we love it.
But not a lot of people would agree, sadly.  I guess it was one of her biggest projects. Her character is great, just a bit naive if you ask me. In the end she makes the right decisions though. __________________

It was made in 1980. I never saw the original so I can't compare the two
